They messed up one of THE BEST book series movies EVER! they added " monkey girl" and made crepsley date a weirdo from the cirque du freak. To those of u who haven't read the books, the books are so much better and it flows nicer. This movie sucks!

1. Mr Crepsley looks nothing like how I imagined in the books.

2. Darren is too old.

3. In the book I swear Alan showed Darren and Steve the ticket. I never remember it being thrown out of a car...

4. In the book he didn't actually want to become a half-vampire. He was very reluctant to the idea of it.

Guys ever check the bonus footage on this movie? They had the script planned out to follow the book closely but then the Jack ass Paul Weitz came into the picture and wanted to change it to be more comical instead of it being so dark and violent so it would attract a "younger crowd" WTF?!
