There's nothing I hate more than over zealous cops, so naturally I enjoy seeing these over zealous cops getting a taste of their own medicine. That being said, what you did there was a total step in the wrong direction. !st of all never adress an policeman or policewoman as "Officer" anything. Here's the reason why, the only people that are officers are the Sherriff, chief of police and political officials. These are people that had to get voted into office by the people. Other oficers per se are sworn in to their position. Always address them as Sir or Mam.

I have RARELY had problems being polite, respectful, and honest. Got me out of a 140mph felony ticket once even, and many other tickets that I should have gotton. If the cops a strait dick, well, that's one thing, but your the asshole here.

He could have done a full vehicle inspection and dragged it on for hours.

!st of all never adress an policeman or policewoman as "Officer" anything. Here's the reason why, the only people that are officers are the Sherriff, chief of police and political officials. These are people that had to get voted into office by the people. Other oficers per se are sworn in to their position. Always address them as Sir or Mam.

First off, the officer doesn't have to tell you why he stopped you or JACK SHIT until after he has seen your license and registration and determined that the situation is safe for both himself and your beligerent ass. There are several hundred traffic laws and you're lucky this cop didn't feel like being a jerk like you. Were your headlights or license plate dirty? He could have done a full vehicle inspection and dragged it on for hours.

If he isn't ready to take on the ENTIRE task of becoming a police officer, he's completely entitled to not enter into that line of work. There are some extremely heroic and genuine police officers, but just because one is a police officer doesn't mean that they can be described as such.

I also know lots of cops who are busy dealing with all kinds of crap and really don't have time to shovel the dung left by idiots like you who have nothing better to do than mess with them. If you have a problem with the ticket, you take it to court. Don't shove it down the guy's throat. With all due respect, you have never known a cop, you have never been a cop, and you should stop telling the cops how to do their jobs.

Now I just take them to federal court along with their wives if they are married. If you think I am giving them a hard time, just wait. I know plenty of cops and teach them a thing or two. I was recently stopped by one and the fact that he did not charge me with misdemeanors and said I know who you are after running my license, tells me what I do works. Believe what you want!

But you better believe I'm not stupid enough to smart off to one. Anyone with a loaded gun attached to his hip isn't going to get any lip from me. Unless he scrapes it off my zipper. :)

@UOGSammich damn straight. Be nice and honest. Admit your wrong doing if you know what you did wrong. Say you get pulled over for a traffic violation. Best way to keep from getting a ticket is to just be nice and honest with the officer. Dont give him crap and he probably wont give you crap such as a ticket. Unless of course you are speeding really bad I guess.

@ZoomToadCraazy False beyond belief. Cops are out to make money they don't give a fuck about you. Most of the time when you get pulled over they have the ticket already written out. You can be so nice to them, and they still will give you a ticket. It's called "Quota" if they haven't met it, then your def. getting a ticket.

@hiesen666 actually the secret is, they do not have a quota they have a thing where they're trying to get more tickets out to get more money from the court, i.e government. Basically scandals or unfair rights. A basic minor traffic violation that could of gotten a warning, the cops will give out a ticket. But I do understand sometimes its not their fault, the head police will get mad at them for letting them go.

Dude, he gave him a ticket because he was being a little schoolgirl trying to get smart with him about law.The kid prob. has absolutly no idea about how laws work let alone is he the lawyer that he tries to act like. if you notice, it wasent until after he started acting stupid that the cop ran his shit, and then relaized he is nothing but a trouble maker, hence the ticket, hence justice for us having to watch him be a cry baby bitch to a cop who was just doing his job.

It also happens to be a violation of our civil rights, which means it leaves the officers, their superiors, their department, and their government liable for federal civil rights suits. In general we all have a vested interest in police obeying the law, and we're finally reaching an age where technology is leveling the playing field for non-criminals.

I'm not about to go all 'conspiracy theory' on you, don't worry...but corrupt police are getting more & more common, twisting the law to their advantage under the assumption that the average citizen doesn't know enough about their rights to catch the laws the police are breaking in order to gain revenue & exercise their power. If more people knew their rights & challenged the law, fewer people would be had by corrupt police.

These officers are undertrained and operate under a color of law that is not coherent within the framework established by the Constitution of the US. Whatever manner in which Tactikalguy1 approaches them is what he chooses to do. Just because you don't like or approve of the messengers decorum doesn't mean you should overlook the vital moral of his accounts. When considering an abridgement of your rights, conscience is a last resort. IMHO

It's about time people stand up for their rights. There is no crime committed when no one is hurt. All the people on here who say he is wrong, or an asshole for treating the cop like that forget that it is the cop who pulled him over for nothing in the first place. A freggin tail light? On top of that there is no victum. It's plain Corpus Delicti. A victumless crime is not a crime peroid. The cops get off on their power and we outnumber them 1000-1. Please stop being puppets in their game.
