  • Nice!

  • i always have a problem trying to follow some ones instructions when it comes to dancing, SO HERE IS AN IDEA, WHY NOT MAKE ONE INSTRUCTIONAL VIDEO WITH A HOT NAKED CHICK!!!! I WILL DEFINITELY PAY ATTENTION!!

  • on2 nice!! on1 uhmm soo.sooo

  • YOU'RE GREAT! AND EVEN IF JULIE IS A VERY EXCELLENT TEACHER...STEPHANIE INSUPERABLE! I LEARNED ALL JULIE'S TIP BUT I'D NEVER DANCE THIS WAY...SHE TOO SEXY!

  • I find your page quite wonderful..I've never taken salsa lesson, but watching your videos for almost 2 years I can easly dance salsa at the club..! =) S, thanks very much!! I've only a little problem:even if I can well follow my guy, I fell always very shy and I fear of appearing awkwad because I haven't gained the full mastery of my body...I'd very like to dance as this fantastic girl, CAN YOU UPLOAD A VIDEO TOTALLY DEDICATED TO WOMEN WHO WISH TO BE FEARLESS BUT AT THE SAME TIME SIMPLY? =)

  • I don't care how many hundred moves you know, this is not beginner. You dig?

  • What's the level BEFORE "beginner" called? Cos that's where I am.

If I try what's in the video I'll twist my ankle & dislocate my partner's knee!

I've been in classes for 3 months but am learning mostly that there's sooooo much MORE to learn!

Irish bones. Can't be helped I'm afraid.

  • MEJOR DEJEN ESO A LOS LATINOS

  • Wow.... the days when I looked young ;-)

  • How do you call the Song in the beginning?

  • Es Fantastico. Its been forever since Ive been to Quincinera practice for my neice. I dont get much practice these days so Im dancing to your vids by myself. But the other night I went out on the floor with a very beautiful woman and even though I was a little tipsy I think I did pretty good

  • WOW!!! amazing! but also remember that now men also moves their hips... it looks better and sexier!

  • ok just not on this vid... lol but in sum of the other ones ive noticed .... (im replying to my other post i replied to u on about the counting)

  • This may sound like a silly question, but I have never taken dance classes so i don't unerstand the purpose of counting. Doesn't it take you off beat? And why is it that you skip 4 in the count. 1,2,3...5,6,7?

    Thanks!

  • Counting actually keeps you on beat because it forces you to mark your steps at the right time. It adds the use of another of your senses to your learning.

Counting in dance goes from 1 through 8. In salsa dancing counts 4 and 8 are considered pauses in the steps (no steps) and therefore they are omitted.

  • but then is the beat that fast ... cuz sumtimes it looks like you are skipping over 4 and 8... im currently taking a beginner's class... and in there we go forward with left on 1 then go 2, 3, pause for 4 then back 5 6 7 then pause then repeat. it just seems like they way your showing, (im not saying its wrong, i think i would prefer your way to what im learning personally) looks like its ignoring 4 and 8 pauses....

  • @David534ever That is correct when learning. However the trick is, once you get to adding your own style you can use the count 4 as part of the motion of step 5 - so you reduce the abruptness of a stop. Check out the video where I explain the 'Styled Basic Step'. This is just a very introductory video to reduce confusion for beginners.

  • u should do it slowly

  • @selale77 We do it better in our newer videos. This was the first time we did this and have learned how to do videos better. Thanks for the feedback.

  • where is second part after basic step

  • where is the easy part!?

  • EESTE VIDEO É GOOD DEMAIS E FACIL

  • And this is supposed to be the introduction???? My God, I won't look at the advanced videos then!

  • yes it is the intro..i know its hard..bu you have to practice it a lot and then it will get easier.. i think salsa is hard to learn but its so much fun once u learn it. I had such a hard time learning this part when our teacher introduced it to us..but it gets better..Anthony ur great!

  • The first 5 or 6 weeks of classes were scary....but you have to persevere and then it clicks together. My trouble is I keep forgetting last weeks moves!!!!

  • Anthony, your teaching technique has truly improved a lot. There is a world difference from these vids to the new ones. These are good but the new ones are great. Great job keep it up...

  • THAT`S EASY?????????????/

  • The reason why he leaves out 4 is because 4 is when you are completely inert and both feet together at the neutral state. Plus, it helps to keep the beat symmetrical.

  • lol i have a question...

    why do you count 1 2 3 5 6 7,

    and leave poor 4 out?

    :(

    lmao

  • The 4 and the 8 are pauses in the music. You do not step during these counts.

  • 1 2 3 ---- 5 6 7 lol!

  • he said they were the counts for more advanced learners.

  • they skip 4 because it's the pause

  • i know i meaned the rythm of counting... when he does lef forward it is the 1st step =//

  • wow you guys are great 5 stars for you guys.

  • You might want to check out our newer salsa dance videos. They are MUCH better. (I'm not wearing boots) :-)

  • what song r u usin for this vid

  • Come back Stephanie!!!! =p

  • These are the old videos! I decided I might as well get my skeletons out of the closet!

  • booyaka! great videos as always!! keep em commin!
