Letterman's a truly funny man. The two of them just don't seem to gel. All of the UK chat shows cite Letterman as a major influuence. So his so called 'American' humour can travel.

Most of these letterman clips are a bit hard to watch, Billy said in his stand up he didn't like doing these shows. I think the US didn't know that he was chatting with zero effort as apposed to everyone else who comes on with their A1 material, respect to Billy for not using much of his stand up in these clips, people watching the TV arn't paying to see him
