I was a guest in that episode. I played Chris. It was a wonderful show to do. The lead actor was terrific and really great to work with. I hoped he would become a #1 movie star. I worked only five days and had the rest of the two weeks vacation in lovely Mexico. Fun screaming, pool fighting and batting eyelashes for the show.
Funny thing about Serbia... I am half Serbian but born in Canada!
Is this show massively popular in Serbia because it was one of the only American shows you could get there in the early 90s? I mean I think we may need to send you Twin Peaks or something because Tropical Heat: Sweating Bullets is far and away not our best work from that period.
@psychicwhoosh Aside from 'Tropical Heat' AKA 'Sweating Bullets' being a Canadian show it was a fun and exciting action/adventure episodic detective show that was always uplifting.
'Twin Peaks' on the other hand was a serial that gave off a different vibe altogether!
I doubt the Eastern European fans of 'Nick Slaughter' would get much pleasure out of that during the political upheavel in which the show became a cult icon in Serbia.
Sort of. He's found out that he was a great hit in Serbia and the region in 90's, even if he didn't know it. When I say "great popularity", I mean he's literally into popular culture. You've got articles on the net about the phenomenon. He's amazed he didn't know that all the time, and now he's a guest here and allegedly trying to make a documentary about it.
In this Saturday he was in one Belgrade bar and everyone recotised him exept one girl. When he talked with her he founded out that girl is from Toronto, and that she actually grew up in a block which is about 2 minutes of block where he grew up. LoL! That little story says all!

No man, he is very popular here ( more popular here, than Canada-his native country, or any other country in the world).
During the 1990s he was the most famous person in Serbia ( something like that).
Great memories :D
