i play this game on the XBox 360, for a while ide been removing the patch, duplicating to my hearts content, then re-patching. untill yesterday, for some reason god decided to say 'hey, this kids cheating, here are his consequences". i duplicated, then repatched, then when i re patched and loaded the game, i lost everything except the weapons i duplicated. lost my money, blueprints, facts, recording, viagra etc.

i did this and it worked, the downside i lost all my money and all my mods when i updated... But i kept the cloned weapons i stored in the girl

To duplicate with patch (you can play online)

1.load last checkpoin

2.drop your items you want to duplicate.

3.kill yourself and when you see the timer. pause and load last checkpoint.

4.pick up your duplicated items.

5.profit

@papanycity You delete the patches of the game not the data of it... you delete the updates the data of your game is safe and secure you would be a dim wit if you would delete it on porpouse

If you delete the Dead Island file from your Game Date Utility, will you lose all the progress you've had in the game & have to start all over?

You can also go on your game change online options to LAN. Start game then drop your weapons on the ground, then blow yourself up with a grenade. As soon as it explodes and hurts you press start and then load from last checkpoint. Then "walaw" your weapons will be on the ground while you still have the originals in your inventory. To do this again you have to quit game after and then start from step one again.

If you dup weapons without the patch on they will all be LvL 50 when you redownload the patch, just a heads up.

@awiorg It will never stop working since you are palying in a non patched version of the game, although i recommend backing up your game file first.
