Was trying to hunt this down for ages... saw them at Leeds at Duchess of York about 20 years ago, and this song has stuck with me ever since. Love it.
so many great records that i once had..and sold for questionable pursuits..this was one (along with all those different coloured 'ride' ep's) that i should have kept. sure i heard the ghost of revolver in some emo-ish popsong on the radio last week. classic indi danceability in its most prolific period.
loved this tune back in my shoegazing days... still sounds ace now - the guitar wall of sound at the end is ace. indie music really was SO much better back then
A beautiful reminder of a beautiful time, cheers. I remember seeing Revolver opening the bill at the Slough Music Festival (yeah you read that right!) in 1991 - Ride headlined, with Curve and Slowdive as supports. Shoegazing Woodstock. Anyhow, Revolver never got due praise in my opinion - a fine band with some top tunes, who always bring back fab memories of Converse All-Stars, tatty cardigans, girls in flowery summer dresses, snakebite, last trains home, jumpers 4 goalposts,etc...
Hooray! I liked that "You're unaware of how much earth you move" song off this EP too. I saw them at the Camden Palace in 1991. His vocals are even wetter than Ride's: ace! There's more than a hint of Damon Albarn too,.
"Baby's Angry" is one of my favourite records of all time and "Heaven Sent An Angel" was on every bloody mixtape I made for at least ten years. Awesome!

Such a sweet, uplifting tune with phenomenal guitars to boot!
The early 90's UK alternative will always hold a special place near and dear to my heart.

File under things to cover. So much more vibrant than any of their contemporaries, these guys. Absolutely brilliant.
