From the land of the Bluenose.....swishing is a whole nother world. Did you find that after your first go of it your back was sore the next day? Try hunting in the ocean with big waves...lol!
Good to see you are improving your water hunting..With some great help..We look forward to watching your water hunting videos improving with better, and better finds...Best of luck DiggingNorway & H.H.
Once again a great video. You're monologue is very good, and not even your native language mind you. Fantastic job, and I really hope to see more videos.
@bllsmb HI, no I don't. When I was younger I did some radio-hosting. I am a msc student in political science, chef, scuba instructor and normal guy. I would love to do a TV-Show about treasure hunting in Norway though ;) Anyone have 400.000USD?
Great video!! I think I may have seen your new friend do a video with Gary brunn. They did a water hunt.Amazing shop he had there.Wish I could read Norwiegen I would deff like to visit his web site.Great video.HH
@NiagracountyNY You probably have,m they are friends/collegues. Thx for watching, yes the club house (its not a shop he dosent sell detectors) is very cool indeed. That is where the Norwegian Association of Metaldetectors have their boardmeetings.
@granskare yes, I was completely lost before I learned this teq. thats why I havent been out in the water so much this summer, retriving the targets was such a nightmare until Per thought me a systematic approach that is very effective.
Nice video and for me it's one of your best because I love water detecting the most. Just to share methods... what I do is use a snorkel / mask and actualy swim along the bottom holding the search coil in one hand, letting the rest of the detector drag along behind. When I get a good signal, I fan the spot with the other hand to reveal the object. It's very fast as long as the water is clear, and if it isn't then I use a scoop like yours but with a very short handle. All the best :)
@OutsideTheEdge Which detector do you use for that? and do you use a wetsuit with weights to control bouyancy? Do you use fins??
The places Ihave been to so far has so poor viz that this method, or scuba, woulden't be possible, but I see your point. Thx for tip, I'll try this before I rent a tank. Thx!
@DiggingNorway Hi, I use a whites surf 2 VLF which is fine for the shallow depth and a surprisingly good detector also in fresh water. Yes, I use use a wetsuit and a weightbelt, but no fins becuase i sort of push-pull myself along the bottom. I dont use my tank much, but in some places that would be good, however I won't dive alone nor recomend it. As for visibility, thats no problem, just get the target in the short handled scoop and stand up out of the water to see what it is. :)
@icollectstuffdude Once a systematic tecnique was thought me, I got a lot easier, but its heavier on the arm. Landhunting in the forest is great workout for the legs, and underwater is good for the arms. Scuba I guess is for relaxing ;)
nice tips....btw, I thought you sold that little red car.
