I notice the Filipino Singers ALWAYS sing American Songs, WHY........I thought every country had their own Pop songs, or Rock songs.....Dont they have Famous Singer, that write their own Music..........I just think its alittle weird.........Not trying to be mean, i just notice that!

filipinos have beautiful music of our own...it is the influence of america and spain and other countries that makes the younger filipino generation turn to this music...it's not just the filipinos anymore..i see a lot of japanese, koreans and other asian countries revert to these types of music including rap music...i still enjoy traditional folk songs...

That's true...we are influenced by Western music though we still have our own country songs(both English,Tagalog, and other dialects) which mostly applicable for Filipino listeners ONLY. But if we sing American ENGLISH songs, everyone understands and it's a stepping stone to be famous and our talents are being appreciated around the world.
