To those saying Mae Mae should have been captain: Yes, Mae Mae bucks the stands and works the field. That is what we, j-sette stans (yes, i said it, j-sette stans...lol) see. However, the is something that Mae Mae is lacking. Mrs. Worthy saw it, and that is why she did not choose Mae Mae as captain. To those saying Charlotte should not be captain: You have to give Charlotte time. So far she is throwing so sickening new counts in the stands and has created some nice field shows.
@8thwonder0608 both of Shanketta's years were all in the same amazing. 09's squad had more control than 10's, though, but both her years were great, neither were boring.

@atlrfk she knows,her music better than any recent captain! There hasn't been too many run ons n she knows when to cut em off! I agree with errthang else tho!
@mwells842007 she doesn't run on but she stops too early, then starts again, then stops...or looks back uncertain when the song will end and she throws the same counts each game...It's NUMEROUS counts to be thrown but to see the same one on Big Ballin, the Show, and to exit off the field with...Come on now
@atlrfk I saw captains do the same thing you mentioned and worst! Nobody said anything about them! People just puttin Charlotte under the microscrope!
And she doesn't know her music...or maybe she can't see the drum majors from her view. I dunno. She just needs to work on becoming a master of her craft (the captain spot) then move on to add and change stuff. Spend time to get Morgan and Tamela in sync with the squad. It may be other things going on, im not a j sette. They are doing a great job but ive seen SOO much better (and not just from Shanketta)
@atlrfk I think Charlotte and her new ideas and changes like the homecoming ramp being inverted that day, and the way they do the field exit is okay, and the new counts/marches/salutes are amazing, but you are right with the other stuff as far as keeping the squad in sync. Other than that, Charlotte has been doing a great job.
If Mae Mae had of brought this presence last year, yea I think she should've gotten captain...and yea I'm Over the capt. I was rooting for her but she is BORING. I don't know if it's song selection or what but im bored.com. Also quit trying to change EVERYTHING. A reason I like the J-Settes is because of tradition. Yea Shanketta brought hella new stuff to the stands but majority was in her second year. Keep the tradition of the j-settes alive and the capt. needs to remember her form as well!
