"Treat others as you would like to be treated". it is very sad when people don't remember that. Too many demand to be treated right and ignore other's suffering. How mankind survived all those years is a mystery.
The autopsy revealed nothing. We suspected liver failure as he was a heavy drinker but no signs of liver or heart failure. He simply died in his sleep. We do not suspect it was suicide.
Connecting with others seems to be the best and toughest part of life. I think the best and most honest way to respect his spirit in this world is to be open and respectful to those we encounter. Nobody is perfect, him or us or the stranger on the street... but most of us are trying to be our best and to get through the day the best we can. That's some common ground. ;)
Joseph. You were remembered by someone who remembers what love is about. And now others know about you. I'm not gay, not particularly pro-gay politically... but people should be decent to each other and respect each others wiews and perspective in life. Anyway brother I hope a part of you is allowed to appreciate this video. :)
How nice of you. My Mother and I share a lot of guilt re Joseph. He desperately wanted to be a part of our family but the only thing we had in common was my Sister who he loved dearly, and he tried to reach us by raising personal issues concerning her in a negative way and for that we shunned him about a year before he passed. Something I obviously now regret.
Thanks Annette. Will be thinking of Joseph all next week for his 1 year anniversary.
