This is not a case of "British comedy" compared to "American comedy". This is comedic style down to the individual comedian. If you asked a British comedian what comedians they like, they're not all going to say Monty Python, Monty Python, Monty Python.
@yngguy4u You have to know your audience i suppose. Since its a British set, and British audiences tend to prefer long stories, that'll be why it lasts so long. I don't know about America, but if you like snappier anecdotes that get the joke out and move on, possibly thats what he'd do for US audiences.
Glad some people found it as funny as i did, the "scampering part" (not to give it away), that's where i was in fits.

I have seen people say they have seen Sean Lock say the same jokes but in different places but that's how it is, do you get a completely original song every time you go see your favourite band and then expect them to do that every where they go on every tour ever?
