So lets say theres snow on the ground and i just want to leave the hubs locked for a couple days when its bad instead (i will unlock them when it wouldnt be worth using 4wd) of getting out and locking them when i need to... is this going to case any damage or maybe long term effects??
@BeyondXMask 4x4 Hi lets you reach highway speeds just like 2wd, in 4x4 Lo you have a much lower top speed at 30mph give or take, this is for more torque to make it up extreme hills and gives you more traction
i put manual hub lockers on my 99 ford ranger and i was wondering if i leave them unlocked and turn the switch in the cab to 4hi will i have 4wheel drive or do i have to lock the hubs to get 4 wheel drive?
i have a 1999 ford and it won't shift into four wheel drive because it rusted up does anyone know how i could unfreeze it IT WOULD BE ALOT OF HELP....... it has the shifter on the floor no button
