I've been programming COBOL for 27 years. Just got done working on 75 programs all by myself. Made a lot of easy extra money in 1999 and 2000 with the Y2K problem. Easy fixes! Guess that I was born at the right time! Guess that I'll be born again in time for the Y10K problem.

I've been programming COBOL for 22 years, still to this day. It's still used extensively by large institutions like banks and insurance companies.

@timsteryt Bet you're well paid for that..at least here in Brazil, Cobol coders are in short supply and are well paid...I'm about to study this tecnology for mainframes..
