The manga is magnificent.

We get to see how much of a sadomasochist Ruby is, Tsukune fighting nearly as well as inner Moka, Kurumu at her finest (and the fact that she is the 2nd strongest in the 'harem,' even if she does not realize it).

We also get to see some SERIOUS character evolution.

this show sucks, i watched 2 minutes of it and decided that it has no future and has a shitty plot as hell. The music's good though.

with a harem series you usually don't get more than one type of template. The only good harem i have seen so far other than maybe the first few that came out is imouto. everything else sux shit, index sucked shit, hell, even eva was pretty bad for two episodes cuz of the harem route being choosen. fuck, my, life.

@MOONWOLF7395 Story? What Story? In adapting this series in anime form, Gonzo completely disregarded the story and instead worked to make the anime as exploitative as possible. The first season just BARELY followed the first seventeen chapters of the manga (at the time, the entire first manga series had long since wrapped up, so there's no excuse.) and the second season doesn't even have anything to do with the series! This anime is a fucking disgrace to the source material.

@guncannon109 It has no charm, it has bland music, the fight scenes are piss-poor, the characters have no personalities (all unlike the manga with the exception of the music, obviously) and there's no plot. The only thing it has going for it is the fanservice. Just the totally unnecessary boob and panty shots and no substance in any way, shape, or form. It's a plotless piece of shit and Gonzo should be ashamed of themselves for butchering the Rosario + Vampire series the way they did.
