yo, what i do is record the the thing using the record movie feature in snes9x (It's the only reason why you'd use that one instead of the superior znes 0.o)
I probably wont disable the vertical scrolling because I like the illusion of the water following you as you scroll up and down - it just adds to the challenge of the level.
And as far as difficulty is concerned - again, that was the point. And this is just the tip of the iceberg...
wow. i think you should disable vertical scrolling in a layer 3 water level, though. Youre pretty good. But if this is the first world, then you might want to turn down the difficulty.
Wow Glen. That's amazing, and I must say, you're really good at the Mario games. I think when I can afford to get a computer and internet myself, I will consider creating Mario Levels if I could, and I think I'll have lots of patience too.
LOL! Glen's Island 1 is actually a level I created as a loving tribute to my beautiful fiancee. :) No enemies or traps, just full of secret loving messages. It's pretty lame, but heartfelt. I'll upload it some time and you'll see what I mean.
Thanks, but you can't begin to comprehend difficult unitl you see my next few levels, especially my first two castles and my first ghost house. I tried to upload them yesterday but the file sizes were too large, so I gotta try to shrink them a bit.

Layer 3 water+vertical scroll at will= something weird... Just put normal water at the bottom.
