I think a lot of Americans would be just fine with ending NATO, since its time and usefulness are pretty well over. Some sort of new alliance would be possible but I dunno if we really want to get too involved with Europe anymore. You all hate us and all, why should we ally with you?
But we can not pretend that Russia enters into NATO (an American Organization...) as a simple member: we must do together with Russia a new alliance, for a new politic and economic strategy
Why does the US have to be a part of an organization such as NATO? The US has no need for a military alliance with countries that barely have a military. Also, the countries that are currently in NATO have a hard time living up to their military agreements. So, why would we want to build a new alliance with these same countries? And Russia being a part of this new alliance, I don't think so! I have an idea, how about Europe pays for it's own security?
