This is an all out attack on the water system in Australia and needs to be stopped before we are all drinking from desalinization plants and paying for every drop . if this continues we will be buying all our food in 10 years .. WAKE UP
Why do need these wells? Is there an energy crisis in Australia? How about investing in renewables instead of destroying the water tables for a few years worth of gas
@testdefy I Have worked for a CSG service company for years and not once have i seen a Well drilled on prime agricultural land nor have i seen people won't lose their homes and their livelihood....NEVER
ohhhh u poor fucks, it aint anywhere near as bad as u queers make it out to be!!! ur all full of shit!! who ever sed there there was going to be a steel fence built around you're house..?? give me a break you wankers....
@timmybnfx The steel fence really isn't the issue, the guy's just obviously upset about the prospect of losing his home and seeing his land destroyed. Do some research brother...even if you aren't against CSG, there are vast rich coal seams in Australia, why do we need to drill on farmland? Only 4% of Australia is prime agricultural land, why can't they do it somewhere else? Where people won't lose their homes and their livelihood?
I would like to see all politicians and CSG employees(including CO's) responsible for this abusive industry to be forced to work reselling every bit of the CSG infrascructure they have assembled then go out and completely restabilise the land and water. This would follow their court appearances and convictions of crimes against humanity. They should never ever be allowed back into Australia or Australian decision making. Who is the best QC?
yes hysterical isn't it. laugh your head off (& hope they don't come to your place.) right now in densely populated inner city St Peters, Sydney, 200 metres from people's homes there is exploratory drilling going on. nobody was told about it. our state & federal govmts have given carte blanche to huge multinational companies to do what they damn well please wherever they damn well please, & there has been no environmental assessment done! it's a tragedy for all Australians because noone is safe.

@testdefy i would be a lot more worried about open cut mines then a few thousand 4 inch holes in the ground.
timmybnfx 4 months ago
@timmybnfx dude, it's not about the holes...it's about the contaminated water which can destroy the whole ecosystem

4 major issues with Coal Seam Gas.
1. 2 million tonnes of salt per year will be brought to the surface onto prime farming land, rendering it useless.
2. Fracking coal leads to methane escaping into the aquifa which farmers rely on for drinking and irrigating.
3. Mining companies have legislative backing to drill on private property via forced entry.
4. Anna Bligh has sold out to Multi Nationals when she should be looking after her own constituents.
