  • So that's what Witchiepoo looks like without her make up

  • Kinda of a damn shame to see how horribly typecast poor Billie got, but still. She was so damn good at what she did. :)

  • whoa! billie hays is a bit of a cutie!

  • Yes the last year of this show 1972, the clothes almost look modern and current for today. Liz looked so young with the long hair parted down the middle. She was almost 40 here. Hard to believe she would be 78 years old now.

  • "I happen to be the real thing" - Awesome line.

  • Damn...when Sam turn Billy Hayes into that fairy godmother she wasn't bad looking.

  • @jaxbeachguitars I know right? We could never tell how pretty she was as Witchipoo

  • I adored Elizabeth Montgomery. A truly beautifully talented actress.

  • the last season image of her was the best! That hair and most of the clothes still stand today!!!!!!!!!

  • great great memories!!!

  • God damn, Elizabeth Montgomery was hot like lava!

  • Billie Hayes......the best witch too ever appear on TV.

  • I'm from Salem, Mass. Home of the Bewitched Memorial statue.

  • Samantha: For your information your not messing with any story book witch, I happened to be the real thing! LOLLLLLLLLLLLLL

  • I remember this episode as well. Although she is not playing Witchepoo, it is the same actress and you almost couldn't tell the difference. It was almost like Samantha was taking on Witchepoo.

  • She's a better Witchiepoo in traditional cloak and hat. Her marvelous quickness of expression is funnier, not as silly as with the hobo cap, jagged skirt, clown face and those Buster Browns.

  • I have directtv and this morning I watched Lidsville w/ weenie lol and also H.R pufnstuf w/ witchie poo OMG...I grew up watching these really now just sweet live puppet shows I love them... so now as a 47yr old I watch just for that old childhood memory..CUTE

  • @seanviv2 Same here at 45! I've recently rediscovered Lidsville. Actually was confused by the lunchbox (my very first) before I saw just a few episodes back then, but Charles Nelson Reilly IS so cool and there's a mystique about the whole thing.

  • I had no idea this was Billie Hayes...until now...thanks for uploading!

  • oooh they made her pretty, never seen witchiepoo look so good (lol)

  • So thats what Witchiepoo looks like without her red hair dye and makeup

  • Hahaha my mum walked in while watching this and she's like "THAT'S WITCHIEPOO"

  • I don't remember anyone screaming that Bewitched would make us all believe in witches and cause kids damage the way people complain about Harry Potter.

  • I LOVE how she just Spazes out at the End

  • Elizabeth Montgomery was gorgeous!

    five stars for her

  • @level242 Yeah, but she was no WITCHIEPOO!

  • When i was a kid.....when that door opened,it sounded like the bad witch farted 1:32

  • lmao it does

  • thanks.....you made me feel better....i was down...so i fell into tv

Same here with Samantha and Witchepoo. In fact, I feel that some of the best episodes of Bewitched involved Tabitha. She also went into the Jack in the Beanstalk story (and shrunk the giant!), turned a bully into a bullfrog, and cleaned up kids TV by poping into a TV puppet show and stopping one puppet from beating up on the other. Imagine what she would have done if she was on the Simpsons and watching Itchy and Scatchy!

  • This is one of my favorite episodes of Bewitched. I was also a Pufnstuff fan as a kid, so seeing this as an adult and realizing that the storybook witch in this show was the one who played Witchepoo was wonderful. She acts just like Witchepoo, but with a different costume. Reminds me of the Charmed episode in which Robert Englund was the bad guy (he played Freddy Kruger in the Nightmare on Elm St. movies). You would think it was Freddy himself they were up against. Continued...

  • I Loved witchiepoo in the episode on HR puff n stuff where she kept getting hit in the face MAKEUP!!!! bam!

  • Thanks for posting, that was a riot!

  • I blame her for influencing some of my performing. :) Ironically enough, I'm planning to audition for "Hansel and Gretal" in a few months...

  • Elizabeth Montgomery the wife i always wanted! she was and will always be a Class Act!

  • gotta love Billie Hayes...better maniacal laugh than the joker...

  • I ADORE Billie Hayes! Hello! comic genius anyone!

  • I remember this episode well and as a kid , to see witchiepoo on another show was so great. I was so excited! Bewitched was a wonderful show. I miss those years where TV was entertaining

  • ICE PRINCESS CAPER....That's it! I posted them and I forgot. Oy. Anyway, there's that and 'A Private Toast'. When I first found out that 'O'Reilly was once Witchiepoo, I'm like. NO WAY!!!

  • Thanks for posting this!!!! Sounds like you're a Billie Hayes fan. Well, I've got some stuff posted. Look up 'Ice Princess' , She was on GH in 1981.

  • i love witchiepooo and Bewitched
