@bigmac485 - wrong! Read up on your history of Derby, please. Nice how someone flagged my post (below) as spam. Just one more person who doesn't know all about Derby. Ya gotta know where you've come from to know where you're going. Read up on the history. Derby was ALWAYS co-ed from 1935 to today.

@bugred Hi! If you google "wikipedia list of roller derby leagues", it will give you a list of the men's leagues. I believe Dallas and San Antonio have men's leagues. :) Sorry, won't let me post a link to the list on here.

Pretty much a race. Players who wanna bash the shit out of each other are asking for it. You can do blocking moves like sticking your arse out or nudging, but you can't hit, shove, etc. Watch for the team's strategy- if the jammer can't get through the pack or a blocker doesn't do their job, you get a pissed derby girl (or quad boy)!

Smarty Pants gets away with a lot but she is also better than almost everyone else. Also, NEVER mess with Punky Bruiser, (unless you are a sexibeast like me that is...)
