  • I wanna record electric guitar into the computer. How can I do the line-in recording and hearing what I'm playing at the same time? And what kind of cord do you use for connection?

    I have audacity btw.

  • Get a Line6 Guitar Port or a DigiTech RP series pedal. Both let you play, hear and record. Input is a regular 1/4" guitar cord, and the interface is USB. But on my DigiTech, I don't use the USB, I use the mixer output mode and go directly to the M-audio Delta 44. I also have the Guitar Port, but I don't record with it because the DigiTech sounds better. If there's enough demand I'll make a short video of my gear.

  • you are really good at guitar, but i honestly want to know how to upload guitar directly to my computer. is there like something you have to buy or some software? if you could get back to me that would be gr

  • Pedal is DigiTech RP250, sound card is M-audio Delta44. For recording software you can download Audacity for free. Google "audacity freeware"
