very helpful video :) i have SUPER big pores on my cheeks in a small-ish area (and i mean REALLY large..) and it really makes me depressed bc they make my skin look hidious ): i think its genetic, coase i have had them since i was a little toddler and my mom also haves big pores, but not as big as i do... anyway thanks for the video, im subbing!
my facial therapist say.. steaming is only to open pores for extractions and must be extremely careful during steaming or extraction bcos opened pores are very prone to more bacterial infections. After steaming, you must know what to use to close back the pores and do treatment to avoid infections. That's why steaming and extraction should be done by professionals... thought of sharing this to all girls.
Sorry I don't. I'm not even quite sure how to deal with that yet. I will do a review on a product soon from California Baby that does seem to help with redness for me.
I understand how you feel about pores, i have really large ones on my cheeks and nose. Btw, have you tried the l'oreal studio primer? I heard it's really good for filling in pores.
Actually not yet, I look at it everytime I'm in the drugstore. But I'm deathly afraid of silicone primers (they tend to clog me up) and the L'Oreal one looks suspiciously like it has lots of silicone.
Once you use a steamer to open up the pores to clean it, you should rinse your face off with cold water so that the pores can shrink back. I know someone who kept doing the steamer and it just made their pores stay opened up for a long period of time so now it's just... big- lol not good. Also, it's not good to do it often b/c then you're stretching your pores on and off again so that it loses a lot of its elasticity that way.
skin types can be hereditary like acne, some people get more acne then others and there is a big chance, if you have severe acne, that your parents had severe acne too..
Thank you very much.

Rinsing your face with cool water makes your pores shrink slightly.

and another thing... If the pores are not treated and closed properly after steaming, this will lead to bigger pores in future.
