  • This is a really hot topic in Hollywood right now! I just saw the film My Reincarnation directed by Jennifer Fox and I was really inspired by it. Buddhism isn't a fad, it's a way of life that you need to invest time into. I'm definitely inspired to live a Buddhist's life and I like that Hollywood is spreading the word! bitly .com/t3FuWB

  • If you don't meditate ...you will never see the truth...meditating is training the mind...

  • We will all die in the end... you should contemplate on this.

  • Buddhists don't attack other religions.....other religions should leave buddhism alone.

  • People who say Buddhism is not a religion is an idiot and racist...

  • No one said you can't be Buddhist and religious Buddhism is not a religion.

  • "We are connected" is not exactly even the right word... "We are the same thing" would be better :)

  • Dear Tersar. Thank you so much for this posting. It's got to be in my top three YouTube videos of all time and most definitely my favorite on a religious subject. You may find that odd because I'm a Roman Catholic. Nonetheless I believe everyone's spiritual beliefs are Sacred ground. Even though I might be on a different Spiritual Path, I cannot help praise you for the positive experience of viewing this video. You have made my day. Love to all.

  • can yoga work as a meditation too?

  • @1KittyBlood1 Everything can be a meditation. So yes.

  • •The Buddha said: “Do not believe in anything simply because you have heard it, because it is spoken and rumored by many, because it is found written in your religious books, or merely on the authority of your teachers and elders. Do not believe in traditions because they have been handed down for many generations. But after observation and analysis, when you find that anything agrees with reason and is conducive to the good and benefit of one and all, then accept it and live up to it.”

  • I love Keanu! and he did right that he chose Buddhism !

    i'm buddhist too <3

    peace!

  • sorry to bust your bubble grup, this not the way ,i was lost but now i found,i astrayed from the lord, and his mercy and grace is favor ,and i was delighting myself ,and has a little god,and there is a big GOD ,and that is through jesus ,the son of man !

the bible corrects us ,and daily the flesh dies to sins ,has you read ,but yet you must acknowledge the sinners prayer !

  • @LORDFAMOUSTAR it's great that you found something that works for you. We hope the Grace and sensible things of Christianity enter your heart. There's 84,000 doors to the Dharma and I don't see why Christianity can't embody many of those.

  • Richard Gere is 17th Kamapa Khenno Student ?

  • What I like is the "meditation aspect" of buddhism. It is so flexible as a life style. I read the "The Art of Happiness" it is a good book. I like how the Dalai Lama explains things in a way that anyone can understand without actually having to be a Buddhist/religious person. I practice meditation so that I can be stress free but it is a difficult thing to do. It is not simply sitting down and closing your eyes. There is so much involved in good sound meditation practice.

  • I would love to acept these teachings but I m catholic wonderfull thoughts though.

  • @klaatu32

There are many aspects of buddhism that work for many nonbuddhist, enriching their own spiritual journey... for instance, meditation is part of many religions... I have a catholic friend who deepened her faith while studying the basis of buddhism... now she enjoys mass and connects better with her old prayers... keep searching! :)

  • @klaatu32 I was Catholic too but I have converted to Buddhism.

  • Do you have a clue as to what you are talking about? I just came from a buddhist temple and they were the most easy going people. Regret what? What is selfish about teaching yourself to not be selfish..hello.

  • Religion is not "one way fits all" Not for Buddhism

Buddha taught that life is impermanent (anicca). Everything keeps changing every single moment. People used to go temple to learn Buddhism. Now, people can can just learn from the computer. Buddha reminded us to keep up with changes.

In Buddhism, Buddha taught that we have a choice in life. We make our own decision. No one can decide for us.

  • Sure when hearing his announcing words. Me now too. coz Buddhism ios No.1 to rescue me from sorrow by myself from Dharma. Cheer

  • Please peaceful, Buddhism is peace. so people like talking bad to other pls don't quarrel here. Keanu is gay or not, it's not important. It's a good person. good Buddhist. He know him, noone knows him, pls don't talk bad.

  • Obvious troll is obvious.

  • He is a Buddhist. Anyone can be a Buddhist. Unlike other religons which you cannot practice while you are engaging wit another, Buddhism is a way of life...a life style. So, u can become a Buddhist even without following a single ritual.

  • This is a great video. I enjoyed watching. Another recognized reincarnated Lama of Gaden Monastery residing in Malaysia is H.E. Tsem Tulku Rinpoche. Rinpoche lived in USA for many years and speaks perfect english. Very easy to communicate with and has much knowledge. Rinpoche was recognized at 7 months old. His father is Tibetan and mother is pure Mongolian royalty. Born in Taiwan, then taken to US and return back to Gaden in India. Very interesting. see website tsemtulku(dot)com. Great Website!

  • Buddhism is good. But it should not be used as a political excuse.

  • lol- i don't know about that, but I didn't know he was Buddhist..:O

I guess it makes sense, he did do a Buddhist movie a while back, but thats about all i've heard of it...?

  • How do you know what he does? He is doing more than most westerners to spread love and compassion. He is on a path like all of us:)

Good on him and you :)

    Namaste

  • it's glad to hear that BUDDHISM nowadays is venturing ino the minds and souls of the west..something to be thankful of...Buddhism is should say it's just part of my life everyday...

  • that was a very precise picture with a energie of warmth from certainty
