Initially I heard this song in the voice of 'Ustad Nusrat Fatah Ali Khan' only, which came a decade ago. And I just loved it...

But then I put a ban on pakistani singers, and hence never listened it again.. (With all respect to the great singer Ustad Nusrat)..

Today only I came to know this Kishor Da's version.. It made me nostalgic.. Great, just great song, written by Jawed sahab.. excellent lyrics, melodious music, and greatest vocal.. So fortunate to listen it again.

Nusrat was a great singer indeed, but if you are talking about this particular song, he come nowhere near Kishore Da. Similarly no one can sing some songs sung by Nusrat better than him, "Shehar kay dukandaro" is one of them.

cant compare kishore with nusrat. both styles differ. nusrat ne aise gaya hai jaise uska dil jala ho - utne dard se.
