  • I hate spinning back kicks. Nicely done, I would have missed entirely and face planted lol!

  • I can do this kick, but I've only ever hit pads & bags with it.. Is there anything in particular you have to do to increase the "snappiness" in order to break bricks with it? My spinning back kicks just feel kind of like a push, to be honest.

(I am SO going to try this at home, kids!)

  • @aoeuuiaiui after practice being the key, I would try more relaxation, not trying to really hi as hard as possible, explode of the floor or ground then let the mechanics take over. Make sure your line f force travels as exactly as possible. Practice your accuracy on pads until you are 100% confident to deliver a full force technique without holding back based on a missed target scenario, or the pain & possible injury that would go with it.

  • that is beast

  • Jeez that is beast

  • very cool

  • FALCON KICK

  • That is a lot of recoil from that kick. I can only imagine doing a spinning back kick through that many concrete blocks. Well done.

  • i tried to do that on 2 bricks using a round kick, guess what happened

  • nice

  • imagine if you were to get hit by that

  • Well, the last brick did break, when it hit the ground.

  • lol only thing is, i wuda either kicked him ina goolies or poked him ina eye b4 he even hada chance to land tht kick

  • that was a turning back, not spinning, if it was spinning his kicking leg would of landed behind him instead of in front therefore making it turning. ^_^

  • ohhh my ballzzz!!!!

  • That's cool. The only thing left is that bricks won't attack anyone.

  • Nice

  • So? when was the last time you reached 3 degree black belt and broke broke 9 bricks in one kick before the pressure of camera and a audience? Still he did it :D

  • Guys, no matter how you cut it, kicking that much stationary concrete feels like a wall. The last brick didn't break because the kick was upwards, not because of a lack of power or speed. This is a powerful and committed kick.

  • agreed

  • Agreed.

  • give him just 1 rock

  • good kick but he didnt break all of them but still damn thts a nice kick

  • if you look again... guys not to offend anybody but just pointing out interesting points I've noticed

Look again you would see that the last piece of brick isnt broken when it falls down

it eventuall breaks when it fell o.0

    what does that mean???

  • dang nice kick. if you would have pushed alittle more threw then you would of got all ten and i would have said it was a epic kick. but better luck next time. but still great kick.

  • Love that kick

  • shit. nice one

  • the last brick wasent broken

  • Could you have broken it?

  • Nice, last one didn't break till it hit the floor, but it's still very impressive.

  • YOU STOLE MY ACT!!! Nobody did this Till I did it at the world championships in Vegas in 1999. DAMN. Guess Good things have to spread. Good job (I know it hurts, even with shoes) ...Master T.

  • Seemed way out of my comfort zone, so I went for it.

  • holy.....when i saw him go through i was speechless...God i would NEVER want to be on this guys bad side - 5 stars.

  • He brobably fractured his pelvis bone after that kick, or at least cracked it.

  • Thankfully not.

  • Nice video it looks like you step around and delivered a jump back kick .. whatever it does'nt matter. what matters it the kick u delivered was devistating. you destroyed the target ! Anyone who gets hit with that kick ..your done Game over.. Awesome.. much respect

  • Love to see your kick video, do be careful if you kick this much concrete. It is easy to watch a video and speculate, even if you are trained. It gets real different after about 5-6 bricks.

  • Words are cheap and easy to throw around. Not to mention, misleading. I challenge all who think this is bogus to post a video of themselves doing a similar or better break. Of course many skilled martial artists can do this, it is not a trick, but it does take good technique, unless you fake it. So, I would love to watch a video of you doing a better break. TigerWaza and deguimerautube, you won't find me criticizing your breaks, but just enjoying the skill you demonstrate, its childish.

  • nice kick, how many without spacers? good control.

  • wow....i wanna try this

  • the last one didnt break

  • i did when it hit the ground tho if u watch carefully, so idk if they counted it or not

  • spinning back PUSH-Kick

  • exactly what i was thinking!!!

  • This is seriously not impressive.

  • So I assume you can put your foot through nine bricks?

  • yea that was a alright kick nice job you can always find flaws in slow motion it happens to every martial artist out there I bet most people that look at all the videos on youtube have never even watched themself perform kicks and forms always looks kinda odd

  • yeah i'm a black belt as well and this takes no skill.. its fun tho

  • i look forward to seeing your breaking video

  • brilliant!

  • try breaking a big peice of hardwood instead of concrete or ice

  • yeah I have to agree on that one!!!!

  • Very nice. He got all but one. Still wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of that. Ouch.

  • i disagree, spacing is cheating when they are stacked on top of eachother, because gravity is also a key component,

he still has to collapse the first one hard enough to break the second to last one.

and i do agree, he shouldnt be falling backwards at all

  • ahhhhh i imagined me standing there instead of the bricks :O nice kick

  • Kicking or hitting through your target is essential. There are physics involved and a wave of energy that is returned proportionate to the force you deliver. I have found that the more mass you stack on to break, the more energy travels back. When you reach your max breaking threshold the energy comes back at you with the force you delivered it with.

  • Kind of lame. The last brick did not break, and look how he bounces away from the bricks, you should land through your target, no matter how many bricks there are.

  • Comments that are constructive and can lead to better understanding welcome. I do understand how people tend to speak without thinking as well, I am just surprised to hear it with a disrespectful tone from another martial artist.

  • The farthest brick did not break from his kick :)

  • really good kick just awesome

  • Awesome break!

  • now lets see him break some short stubby bricks, ;) haha just joking

  • not good.

  • OOOMMMFFFFF GOD!

  • Amazing power and focus. Would love to see it here full speed as well.

  • Hi guys thanks for the feedback, if you read the description you will see that I posted 9 out of 10. Clearly, I am not trying to fool anyone. If I was I would just block the comments. I will delete comments that are spam or inappropriate for children to read. Thanks for watching.

  • nice break like the honesty of your comment. what style do you train? regardless enjoyed the video.

  • coldshot357,

Thank you. I train Korean based styles, Tae Kwon Do with some Hapkido and some other mix ins to make the system diverse, well rounded and strong on it's great traditional foundation. Previous experience with Fairtex Muay Thai, Full Contact Tae Kwon Do similar to old PKA. Also, I am honored to be an instructor in John Nottingham's VIPER system for real world Personal Protection.

  • "He didnt break the last one.

It broke when it hit the floor.

Im not doggin' 'em tho.. Still well done :) "

true teehee, but i cant do better ^^

  • Last one didn't break because the energy was travelling slightly upward. Nice break!!

  • you are absolutely right.

  • 'very good, but board dont hit back' lol

  • If you are going to do breaking, start with something relatively easy and build up. If you miss a stack with a kick of the force that it would take honestly take to break it, you would likely tear something, so pinpoint accuracy is a key prerequisite.

  • I don't believe breaking this much concrete is really a healthy act for the body, but it is incredible when things do go well. whether it does or does not, the shock-wave is quite extreme and can't be healthy. I only do these breaks at events to motivate or help raise funds for charity and I do not practice breaking on actual material, instead just practicing solid technique with a good line of force is my recommendation to others.

  • Thanks for the feedback, yes only 9 broke on the kicks impact. The brick tiles are 24 x 2.25 x 6 inches, they are the scalloped garden tiles from a building material supply. I do not recommend anyone try this unless they are supervised by a master level instructor that approves or at least thinks they are potentially ready for such a task.

  • He didnt break the last one.

It broke when it hit the floor.

Im not doggin' 'em tho.. Still well done :)

  • Very good technique; power and accuracy. The bricks look longer than those I typically see. What are the dimensions?

Hate be picky, but the last brick didn't break until it hit the floor...

  • Awesome display of talent and dedicated training. Mr. Miles, you rock!!!!

  • Thank you. I appreciate the positive feedback. Please rate it as well.

  • I did give it 5 stars - but it doesn't seem to have updated. It says I already rated it. Wish I could give it more than 5 stars!!!

  • Awesome display of talent and dedicated training! You Rock, sir!!!

  • cool

  • My mom and I actually had to leave before we saw this

  • Was just like being there again!!

  • You rock Mr.Miles!!!!
