Do you think ahead of time of what you want the end result to be? Or do you just kinda grab whatever materials call to you as you go and you end up with whatever you end up with? I'm curious....

I never think ahead ..I dont seem to be able to work that well that way ...i like to be surrounded by my art materials ..lots of inspirational things and just go from there... so yes .. grab whats there and make some art with it ... ♥

How long do you wait between putting the magazine images face down on the page and removing the paper to expose the image on the journal paper? Did you let it dry completely and then get it wet again or did you wait just a short time and peal it off while it was still wet from the gel medium?

shot time 60 -90 seconds .... and peeled off withno rewetting..when i am after this grungy type look in acrylic gel medium transfer techniques ♥

I had the same question as SqueakypigsTv. I think that is the thing that keeps me from trying is the what if it I don't like it after all the hard work or if i do something i like then i fudge it up by doing something....but i guess if i look at it like you said then it is good.

what do you do if your journal page goes terribly wrong. Do you rip it out??!!! (If they ever go wrong. They are always really good!) xxxxx

why would i want to rip it out ?? giggle ..I take it all , part and parcel of the process.. Art Journaling for me is not so much about the end result, rather than the visual storytelling that happens when i just let what arises arise...there is no one there to judge.. what is right ,, wrong, cool , not cool .. it either resonates or it doesnt .. but it does not make it good or bad... just me.. as I am ... on the page... straight up !
