@TheBooth100 I focused all my attention on braking and suspension, I did however install the big 16g with 800cc injectors and a walbro 255 with protune, may swap to a VF34 but its all I need as it is properly setup for autoX, so while a 5.7l gas chugger could rape my suby I'd lose'em in the cornering and braking which is what it was built to do, should post up some vids of your scoob =]
@16GDSM Actually a stock STI runs faster quarter mile times than a GTO. They'd only be faster on the freeway because they're not splitting their power between 4 wheels like us. Most definitely rape them in corners and autocross, breaking as well, they're heavy. I do have quite a bit of footage of my scoob but I've never done much video editing. Waiting on a few more parts for a final dyno video. I dyno'd 240 whp stock and am at 402 now and hope to be at 450 after the final dyno. I'm on E85 =)

If I remember correctly, 05+ is the 6.0 v8? Could be wrong. Either way STI > GTO

@TheBooth100 I focused all my attention on braking and suspension, I did however install the big 16g with 800cc injectors and a walbro 255 with protune, may swap to a VF34 but its all I need as it is properly setup for autoX, so while a 5.7l gas chugger could rape my suby I'd lose'em in the cornering and braking which is what it was built to do, should post up some vids of your scoob =]

@16GDSM Actually a stock STI runs faster quarter mile times than a GTO. They'd only be faster on the freeway because they're not splitting their power between 4 wheels like us. Most definitely rape them in corners and autocross, breaking as well, they're heavy. I do have quite a bit of footage of my scoob but I've never done much video editing. Waiting on a few more parts for a final dyno video. I dyno'd 240 whp stock and am at 402 now and hope to be at 450 after the final dyno. I'm on E85 =)

@xxmarquezxx74 Wrong. A TD04 and TD05 is not bigger than the STI VF39 or VF43. I drive a STI and several friends of mine drive WRXs, STIs, and Evos.
This was an 04-05 WRX in the video and it has the 2.0 liter. 06+ WRX has a 2.5 liter. So nobody is impressed that a 5.7 v8 BARELY passed a 2.0 4 banger FROM A ROLL haha!

@dbl0ck13 go do some research... unless youre running a bigger than stock turbo... youll get more lag with a fmic than you would from a tmic especially with our stock turbos... and no a fmic is not what makes it stage 2... stage 2 is just a general term for what most people use for a dp up pipe exhaust and a flash of the ecu thats about it.

@Ensilvanation There is no such thing as a 2.0l STI so you obviously have no idea what you're talking about. A stock STI doesn't have much top end but all that requires is a different turbo. But according to zerotosixtydotcome a stock STI is faster in the quarter mile than a stock gto. 12.8 from the 06 STI and 13.6 from the 2004 GTO which is the 5.7 v8. If I remember correctly, 05+ is the 6.0 v8? Could be wrong. Either way STI > GTO

You probably don't have the skill to bring a subie to a 12.8 1/4.. The 6.0l GTOs finish it in 12.8..after 110 the Subaru hits a wall that POS..I race at tracks my GTO is not stock. My 0-60 on street tires is 4.6 secs and 100 in 11.5 secs..never timed my 1/4..

No contest here really.. a stage 2 wrx means an aftermarket downpipe and a tune. maybe 230whp. That's it. A LS1 GTO with LTs and an intake is gonna take the win every time at 320-330whp even if it is heavier. I should know, I have a modded WRX and a modded LS2 GTO.
If neither car had a tune, then the wrx was not a stage 2, and the GTO would still win.
