The US needs to hurry up and increase the low industrial system. If America really wants to help then they have to battle against unemployment which a main problem (bring Walmart or something). After this bases then the government can begin to create the govermental departments (like the department of education) which are indispensable for a nation to prosper. Education is an elemental base to defeat ignorance and insurgency.

The war in Afghanistan is an oil war. It's not a "spread democracy" war. It's not a "protect the American people" war. It's not a war against terrorism. It's a war OF terrorism ~ the U.S. against those nations that we wish to do our bidding in our wish to commandeer the world's supply of oil. It's a "secure oil for the powerful and wealthy."

The Afghan resistance has had ages of warning about a Kandahar invasion. They'll just do what they've always done.. it's basic guerilla warfare.. blend back into the population and tend their farms or move to other areas of the country and wait for the foreign invaders to withdraw from that city. The only victims of NATO terrorism in Kandahar will be women and kids, as usual. Besides being greedy colonialist looters, americans and their NATO stooges are dumber than rocks

@JLaw012 wrong the only accusation the US has used against afghans is some dusty "training camps" used to train guerillas for India Kashmir war. Bin Laden was also ceremoniously hosted in Dubai but dubai is a Bush family friend. Bin laden was in Afghan ONLY because he helped the Taliban on their internal tribal fight against the Northern Alliance. 90% of the resistance fighting the illegal US occupation is NOT a tiny percentage of muslim radicals it's the majority Pashtun tribe which is popular

@Striker4928. Al-quada trained and were harbored by the Taliban, even after we asked the Taliban to hand them over they refused they knew what the consequences would be. It is not an occupation if their leader wants us to stay there and they have a main government, and it was not illegal there was an act of war on our country by a group being harbored in Afghanistan that is 100% legal which is why 60 some countries went with us including NATO.

Those CIA jihadists caused chaos in Afghanistan. Those US jihadists-which Reagan called his "freedom fighters"-were the original Al Qaeda group. US continued funding them after they were used to fight Soviets. Taliban were the only tribe experienced enough to stop the US created Al Qaeda from their rampage.
