You guys are gonna kill that pond keeping so many gills out of only a 6 acre pond. Nice gills, but let some go or they will be stunted 4 inches in a few years.

I appreciate your concern, but we manage that pond for the sole purpose of ice fishing. We trapnet and electrofish the pond every fall and know exactly what fish we want to harvest and what fish we want to release. BTW, the pond was built in and stocked in 1992 and still pumping out big fish consistently.
