Nice to see it's not only me who carefully picks different language to individual characters. I kept it so all japanese/asian characters speak japanese (like Ryu, Gouki, E.Honda, Sagat, etc) while american and other nationalities (if it fits) usually speak english (Ken, El Fuerte, Rufus, Zangief).

Here's how imagine this fight would go in a narrative sense:

You have the cutscene, then they'd fight for a bit, then Akuma would break out his raging demon fist.

The Ryu would get up, not because of the art of nothingness, but simply because he's that badass. He then proceeds to beat Akuma without resorting to the art of murderous intent at all.

Very plausible dude, thatd be an emotional scene. 'Ryu would get up', I can imagine the bruised cheeks, the cut lip, the shimmer of fear in eyes but he fights the fight. His 'Warriors path, that he's always had to train harder' leads to this one fight. Akuma would stand with his back to him, grinning, consumed by the Dark Hadou. The teacher stands as the pupil struggles to his feet and gains his breathe and composure. Ryus fist raise, Akuma nods his head in respect. Then the true fight begins.

@TheSoullessVampire Just beat the game once and it will let you set the voices on a per character basis, it also works with Super Street Fighter IV and the Arcade Edition of the game. I tried it once (with Seth set at English) and it sounded unnatural to my ears, so I have it set on either Japanese or English across the board.

barque ive played both versions of SF4 on the PS3 and the Xbox and i just wanted to say if you notice the difference of time taken when you selected the character? from my experience the PS3 actually takes longer to load after you select that chars and in the 360 it loads much faster there is actually a 4 second gap at worst i just wanted to tell you.
