Don King made a lot of money out of Duran, Tyson and many other fighters but sending to the ring a 47 year old fighter to fight with a much younger man was criminal and full of malice. I love duran. He is truly a legend in boxing. i didnt know that detail about him giving away his purse money to his fellow countrymen and children, giving the shirt off his back literally to someone, he is amazing. I really wanted him to beat sugar ray those last two times they fought. My friend trained with Duran in Miami. I asked him what Duran was really like. He told me that Duran was a really good guy with a decent heart. I was suprised because i thought that Duran would be mean and difficult. The more people that I meet in boxing the more I know the fighters are the good guys and it is the hanger-ons that give the sport a bad name.

After 10 years, Duran was almost 40 years old, this is only big money, not a real sport rematch, no matter who won. Leonard won a decision, there was no fight at all, they were too old. It's sad Leonard never gave REAL rematches ( Benitez, Duran, Hearns, Hagler ).
