We had a war with Iraq in Iran for 8 years. It was the longest and most bloody and terrible wars of the 20th century. With holy wars are started and ended the misery...
This is a reminder to all of how brave these men and women were to have died for our country!!!!! and how they gave up their lives .... Wow what brave men and women.... and to all the 9/11 people that died!!! god bless all!!!!

@molli1234567 I don't really know how to put this. But we just can't. The only real explaination is not every one would agree to the same thing. In my opinion the world can never get to World Peace. people can try. But its just not going to happen. There needs to be diversity in the world. And sure as hell there is plenty of that. Its just one of those things that Cant be done.
my favourite vietnam war ever the music is realy touching i saw the film 3 times and cant help it tears go down in the end of the film thnx 4 the vid bro
A great film, a superb piece of music if you sit down and listen to it, its the sort of music that is great to help you think and reflect on things it can sum up death, despair, loneliness, sadness, grief, regret and so on, it helps put things into perspective so turn everything off turn the volume up, close eyes eyes and listen to it.
The best move about vietnam war. Nobody can make better. This is absolutely amazing movie. I saw it about five times and still makes my tears go down.
I think the worst part of this movie is the part when they're in the village and they murder those peasants. It was pretty clear though that they were harboring VC. Still the approach they took was incorrect. It shows ugly side of war. But we must remember that war is never done correctly. But we must support our soldiers, because if we don't who will?
heres to the north vietnamese, the ones who fought in their pyjamas and still won, god bless the american people but let the devil judge their politicians .
Remember this when your posting remarks against my country. These men and women gave their lives to protect the right you have to sit here and trash talk. Mecenaries and murderers we are, conquerers and not liberators weve been. When you wake up comfy in your bed every morning remember one thing, WE THE PEOPLE, the blood is on all of our hands.Who makes your clothes, your keyboard and your PC. We do not what is right but what is necessary, kill 10 thousand, save a million. God bless America!
@DukeMontana You express a feeling that many will never understand. We can only hope that we teach our children. The fear, filth and smell of the dead is something that you can never explain or show on a TV.

Things to know about this piece, it's probably one of the saddest pieces of music EVER written. It incorporates every emotion into such a short amount of time and its pure genius. This piece moves me in ways no other piece can and I am a young classical musician. It's incredible that a single human being was able to pour out his soul in such a way.

Gotta agree with you on the last one there, Willem Dafoe was fucking brilliant in Platoon!
Makes me laugh when he's in the hammock when "Taylor" walks into the dopehut for the first time, he looks like a monkey with that huge smile on his face! XD
When will young American Men ever fuckin learn that unless your enemy is coming in New York Harbour you dont have to go of to far flung countries to die in some shithole desert or jungle because some ivy league rich boy politician says so his sons sure as hell are'nt so why do they always go and die for strangers?
hey its not our fault they enforced the draft. besides back then, no one knew the war would escalate. And don't start yelling at us for our faults. Every country has it failures. And don't think your country is better because you never made a bad mistake. We all have, America England, France, Russia, Japan, China, Korea. Every country.
"I hope that the new generation will study history more than I did, and know better when some politician tries to sell them a useless war." - Oliver Stone, director, Vietnam Vet
Didn't think this film would be so deep when I saw it for the first time today... Nice to see Forest Whitaker in it as well, loved him in The Last King of Scotland

I am sick of movies that glorifies war....
Moviemakers should learn more from Oliver Stone's "Platoon". A 'true' kind of depiction of war it is.

Didn't think this film would be so deep when I saw it for the first time today... Nice to see Forest Whitaker in it as well, loved him in The Last King of Scotland
