But Jonas Brothers are not rock! They will be rock when they no longer cater to 10-year-olds, learn to write actual songs and lyrics and perform it without 5 other guys playing the "hard parts", and when they no longer play for Disney. That is when people might consider them to be rock.

im not 10, im 19 i know people that are 23 and 24 and are fans, not all the fans are 10. they do write actual songs. they have said themselves they arent rock music so i dont know why people hate on them for that... and they arent the only non rock singers that are in the hall of fame, i mean freakin britany spears is in there and shes pure pop!
and they have a backup band, big deal, lots of musicians have back up band, atleast they do play some of the insterments, unlike most singers do.
