  • I need noise!!! lol

  • Mtillberg no it says quick, lazy and fox which includes q, z and x

  • Oh! dear nice one, but that's an old trick even you can find it on Microsoft Website and you are saying that they don't know about it here is the explanation:

= rand(P,S) P means how many paragraphs you want to insert by default 3 paragraphs are inserted ans S means how many sentences in 1 paragraph you want. What you have applied is the maximum number. =rand(20,30) this means that you want to insert 20 paragraphs and each paragraph will contain 30 sentences.

  • i try...funny...something written almost 543 pages...haha..funny..

  • it works on vista

  • Holy wtfs...

I got 221 pages of size 12: "Flygande bäckasiner söka hwila på mjuka tuvor"

It's missing Q, X and Z but all the other letters are in there :P

    It's in swedish btw.

  • they do this because that sentence has every letter in the alphebet, duh.

  • it works on all og them... its just that he put space between the = and "rand(200,99)" when u dont use space at all... try it

    just put

    =rand(200,99)

  • I Knew this trick ages ago...

  • haha... "microsoft cannot explain it"

Are mulder and scully on it?

  • This is a tool for formating extensive text that is not known yet. There is another reference to it in Mac. LOURUM IPSUM. refers to random text. You insert the amount of text you want. Done in word 2007, the first number is how many parapraphs and the next number is how many sentences. Try =rand(1,1) then 1,2 and so on.

  • this sentence is for practice purpose only..

notice that all english letters found in

    this sentence....

i start typing this in a typewriter....

    back 20 years from now..

  • the actual thing is =rand(200,99)

  • hey plonkers the thing it to test diffrnet fonts. the quick brown fox thing is to test out every letter in the alpha bet to see if the charictars work. and that is just the code to activate it

  • or maby it does :P i was doing it wrong

  • it doesn't work on 2007 :(

  • my buisness computers teacher showed us this like 3 years ago

  • it didnt work

  • the first number stands for the amount of pages, the second for the amount of sentences.

it is used to test fonts indeed.

    pretty stupid bug...

  • lol i got 4,975 pgs lol

  • That's the sentence they use to test fonts, it's not that incredible.

  • I know this! It happened to me on my PC! I mean something like it .twunk12 has got some of it explained but not so much.....No one can explain why this happens so you are right! This is a form of........ a secret type of programming code its called Gealphabish Calculin. This is a begging stage of it but it gets even more complicated. I'm running out of character count so if you have any questions comment on my channel and...subscribe while your at it:)

    The whiteboyz45 group

  • I think that that sentence is one of those things where it includes every letter in the alphabet. :)

  • ummmmmmmm........when i did it, it showed up as some massive 565 page instruction manual...........hmm, mayb it doesn't weerk for 2007.

  • on a mac for word there more than 1,001 lines

  • awesome! lol!

  • i can explain it. this is just a way of generating sentences to try out format types. the sentence is special because it uses every letter in the alphabet.

  • aww it doesn't work in microsoft word 2007 :(

  • lol i jussed tried it it wokred i got 235 pages

  • cool lol I'll try that!

  • lol, in one minute i made over 5,000 pages in word saying "the quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog" lol this is awesome, 5/5

  • did u make that

  • What?? The video or the trick? I made the vid, not the trick... lol

  • lol

    o.o

  • you're a retard

  • Um...why??

  • I'm a foot.

  • I get "El veloz murciélago hindú comía feliz cardillo y kiwi." in spanish. There are missing letters like "b" "g" etc..

    Cool trick anyway.

PD the phrase in the video loks like the final of the "SUN DOG" novel of Stephen King

  • kwl lol the only problem is IT MAKES MILLIONS OF PAGES WID IT!! but still way awsome!!

  • more like 200 something.

  • The sentence "The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog." is a sentence that uses every letter in the American-English alphabet. It is used so that Microsoft users can quickly see all of the letters of the alphabet when choosing a new font. It is not a trick or a glitch, and Microsoft CAN explain it!!!

  • ..."and even the Microsoft people don't know how to explain it!!!." jajaja oh, the humanity !! lol

  • Doesn't work in here... I get "On the Insert tab, the galleries include items that are designed to coordinate with the overall look of your document. You can use these galleries to insert tables, headers, footers, lists, cover pages, and other document building blocks. When you create pictures, charts, or diagrams, they also coordinate with your current document look." and so on.... shit office '07:D

  • it's just the " rand " function of microsoft word, or in short.. how to insert quick text. You have to be an absolute imbecile to believe that " microsoft cannot explain it ".

  • cool! any number below 200 and 99 will give you the same result but less sentences hehehe..=rand(1,1) up too =rand(200,99) works!

  • I tried it. The italian version gives Iliades' first verses and it keeps repeating it for more than 100 pages. It's like shining when he keeps writing the same thing for pages and pages!

    Cool!

  • so long as u dont change the number 200, any number below 99 will give the same result

  • Really? cool!

  • hmm... this is funny cool

  • yea LOL

  • The quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog is a sentence which uses all the letters of the alphabet at least once. Check it if you dont believe me...

  • I believe you LOL

  • theres no S

  • Yes there is CatTienFan

    Its not JUMPED its JUMPS

    :)

  • I heard that this trick is used for checking errors, while programing microsoft word. There are all letters of alphabet in used this sentence.

  • Dear your video is wonderfull . You have complete knowledge of computer. I want to make relation with you

    thanking for your hard work

  • Hehe. Try it in 2007 word!

  • u just learned this?

  • No i learnted it a few months ago,why you a got a problem?

  • GATO

  • LMFAO XD

  • haha i did it! it was really funny coz it brought up loads and loads of pages! what you have to do is put =rand(200,99) because if you just put rand(200,99) then microsoft word changes it to Rand(200,99) so like i said you have to put =rand(200,99) lol

  • ONLY puts green line under rand...

  • Um.... then try =rand(200,99) without the spaces or =rand (200,99) or something, it worked on every computer at my house, and we have 3 at home, and 3 at our shop( parents business) sooo did you do it on WORD or Wordpad/Notepad??

    Well keep trying!! :)

  • i did it lol

    =rand(200,99)

  • lol cool, it like gives a heap of pages!

  • ya, i did paste enter like 20 times lol

  • LOL well at least u got it, coz the first time i tried it was like Wrong Writing Format LOL

  • It doesn't work on mine.

  • Oh.. do you have Windows Microsoft 2003 or 2007? It works on either but not on Notepad or Wordpad

  • fun!!!!!!! lol! 5* 4u my friend!

    xxxxx
