  • screen size :(

  • Gonna give this phone a try. I'll get an android tablet instead

  • Wow u can't access the battery water if the phone over heats and uh need to cool the battery

  • anyone know how to screenshot on this phone?

  • Galaxy S2 ftw, I like the option of being able to choose how much storage i want plaus a bit better processor

  • You sound like ginger one off American Pie :)

  • Whats faster and better? The Nokia Lumia 710 or this?

  • @DoinUrMom991 It's not an easy choice. The Lumia 710 is faster though the HTC Radar by no means slow. The Radar wins for its metal casing and mobile hotspot feature, while the Lumia 710 wins for having replaceable battery and being faster.

  • @MobileTechReview biggest disappointments for me with the Lumia 710 is the absence of wifi-tethering (which you never mentioned when reviewing that) and it only supports micro-SIM cards. i live in the Philippines where the HTC Radar is the only WP7 device available since LG stopped shipping the Optimus 7. an open-line unit costs about $430 and we do have a carrier that has unlimited inter-carrier texts+calls for $8 a month and unlimited 3G Internet for $18 a month.

  • @paolylo We mentioned the lack of WiFI mobile hotspot for the Lumia 710 in our full written review. We do ask our viewers to check out our full review.

  • Getting this phone next week! Do you think this is just as good as the Nokia lumia 800?

  • Getting it but is 1520mAh battery good

  • Getting this soon~ =D

  • Got.mine

  • I´m getting my HTC today :)) jeee radar

  • i have the tmobile g2x and i was thinking of changing to this phone...is it worth it??

  • @zheLL1407 my husband has the g2x.. hes and android fan so he loves it.. and getting all the free games/apps is a plus with mobilism and blackmart and applanet.. better download all you can before those get permanently banned.. i got the radar.. and i love it.. i have about 30 games so far and 10+ apps and the app store constantly keeps growing.. its up to 60,000 apps now.. and i have no lag at all.. guess it all depends on what you like..

  • @MobileTechReview you're pretty and i like your cat. :)

  • You remind me of Leslie Winkle from The Big Bang Theory. Your voice seem similar to hers.

  • hi, me and my mother would be getting new fones this saturday, and I am torn between this and Samsung Galaxy, the reason I want to get this is I am more of a mid range device type of user, my only concern is the storage, and if there's no slot for extra storage that would suck, I really like what they did on this fone but I am torn, help?

  • @gabekarl82 Look at the content you need to put on the phone and see how big they are in size, it might give you a clearer idea how much space you need.

  • so u cant set wallpapers ? on this phone ?

  • @316Joker yes but only the lock screen.

  • im having problems removing my hotmail account from that phone. can you please help me? please.

  • This is easily one of HTC's most beautiful phones. I have never tried the Windows OS. Is it worth it, Lisa?

  • @JaJadenTheGreat It's a very solid phone, and it's easy to use.

  • great video btw

  • @kidrager3 Thanks! :)

  • You look exactly what i thought you would.lol ..

  • ok so ive been searching for a good phone so i dont really like the window phones , with the window screen and stuff so whats a phone that doesnt have those features that you would recommend

  • Because she's into tech makes her very sexy. You go Lisa

  • Lisa, Your Sexy as hell..Holland at yo boy!!

  • What's the best overall (browsing, music, games, email, etc) Windows Phone device?

  • @hjhflyers Either the Titan or the Focus S. If you don't want one that size then the Lumia 800.

  • Thanks Lisa !!!

  • Its a beautiful phone.

  • OMG Lisa looks like my aunt. I like her reviews, very balanced voice and never I hear a bias or a condescending tone in her voice.

  • Awwww kitty kitty ^___^

  • I like HTC phones but i always find that the removable covers at the bottom start creaking after a while. My Mozart did it, and my brothers Legend. Creaking is one thing that drives me nuts. This of course is in my own experience and not necessarily ALL of them.

  • awww the cat is soo cute

  • Is the cat powered by Qualcomm?

  • @takenxtx Oh yes, the cat is definitely a quad core ;)

  • looks alot like the nokia n8 white, just needs a larger camera

  • haha cat

  • That's one fugly phone.

  • @Gregz0r1 They look a lot better in real life

  • ZunePass is $9.99/mo for unlimited streaming and downloads. Unfortunately, they no longer offer the $15 plan that allows you to keep 10 tracks per month. Fortunately, I already had that plan, so they let me keep it.

  • YOUR HOT

  • I like the looks a lot...

  • kittyyzz! Also WP7 looks cool, might switch from android in a couple of years :D

  • not a negative...but seeing you changes my perception of you compared to hearing your great voice!

  • i think u look good aha

  • Hey I kno the face behind the voice now and what's up with the cat lol but other than that the cat out the bag on who is the greatest phone reviewer is You Lisa nice job thought like always I look to see if there's new videos everyday

  • never knew that my favorite techie has such a super cute face :)

  • Lisa i like how you started to show your face in the new videos i never seen u till now lol!

  • @lafifsta Yeah, well, many people avoid showing their faces on YouTube... and for good reason, if you're not Jessica Alba or bloody David Beckham, you're going to get much hate about your aspect... You can only show your face when you've been doing videos for a long time and you have a very consistent audience that likes you, like Lisa, or the Yogscast... But even then you can fail, one guy from Pocketnow got a lot of hate for showing his face, thankfully, hating stopped after a while.

  • damn those bitches are everywhere. the fucking kardashian

  • I still don't get why someone would pay 100 as opposed to the 200 for a superior phone for the lifetime of the contract.

  • Love my HTC Radar 4g. I own this and a G2X and currently prefer WP7 over Android.

  • Yay hi lisa!!!

  • My thoughts: if the phone is white, then the background should be white, if the phone is black, then so, should the background.

  • The more I look at the Radar, the cheaper it looks to me. Like they spent just five bucks making it, the materials look cheap. And I don't like the way you can't take the back off of it.

  • Galaxy Nexus!

  • @zethca We'll be shooting a video review of the GSM/HSPA+ version of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus tomorrow! Stay tuned. And the Verizon version with LTE will come when Verizon's ready.

  • @MobileTechReview

    Can't wait.

A Samsung Galaxy Nexus vs. Samsung Galaxy S11 Smackdown would also be interesting, although I'm not sure if it would be a good comparison considering the Nexus has the new Android OS Icre Cream Sandwich.

  • samsung focus flash wayyy better than radar.

    1) aluminium unibody is useless..it only increases the price of the device..they could hve a better CPU & use normal metals with that price.

2)screen size to device size ratio sucks..i mean c'mon ..jst look at the waste of space on phone's chin..its looks weird..samsung is better n professional..its focuses on functionality rather than fancy stuff.

    3) just 49$...now why the hell would any1 pay more n get less feature & power!!

    btw LISA ROCKS!!! :)

  • HOLY shit There's a cat :O

  • iOS has many apps, it would be boring to jump to another system that has less apps,.. prefer iOS devices,..

  • They should have the cat in all their future videos for 2012.

  • I would love a WP7 on prepaid carriers.

  • i would love to get a windows phone device, if only they had more apps

  • @Revanchist8525 40k isn't bad.. has all the staples.

  • @mgreco1988 I agree, most of the really popular apps are there.

  • The apps are really the killer of any of these windows phones for me. When your already knee deep in Android and all its many versions its a hard justify jumping into another ecosystem.

All things said though it is a pretty solid phone. Microsoft did a good job, but with another Android device waiting in the mail (Kindle Fire) I don't think I can bite on another "bag of chips" so to speak.

  • "...and here we have the speaker grill, which the cat really likes."

    I'm sold. ;-)

  • i love the color of the phone it looks really sleek

  • hmm, I saw on some of the reviews that this phone occasionally "lags." Have you ever experienced this before?

  • why get this when there are other wp7 phones and other phones for the same price

  • donke

  • ooohh yay for windows phones.

  • first!
