Cultural universals include incest avoidance, territoriality, fear of death, rituals, childcare, pretend play, mourning, food sharing, kin groups, social structure, collective decision making, etiquette, envy, weapons, aesthetics, and many more. All cultures do it differently and therefore create different "thought communities" as well as individual idiosyncracies. When I visit a different culture I want it to be different. Sameness can be a real drag it creates blandness avoid chains.
