I basically had almost all of the mid-sized "Mondo" trucks back then. I remember as a kid I loved the fact that those existed. I remember the actual smallest Micro Machine line had the most variety of trucks though.
I've got Grave Digger, and King Krunch of those Micro Machine toys. God the memories, Damn, I wish I could go back. I remember my folks sayin, "Oh god another toy for him to beg for" LOL. Those where the days. *sigh* And whata show too, I could remember watchin these with my folks.
what event was that from? i'd assume dallas since that's when micro machines debuted. the tuff trax version i have doesn't have that segment - ive been told there was 2 tuff trax versions of dallas 1.
This was actually from Tuff Trax one week after they showed a recap of Dallas and Albuquerque...it was shown during a show that showed pulling from the Houston Astrodome but the footage is from Dallas, TX like you said
I don't have either version of the first night in Dallas unfortunately...why would there be two? The week I saw Dallas night one, we forgot to tape it... I REALLY want someone who has that to post it so I can see Bigfoot 8 being banned
Bigfoot was banned because he ran a different chassis than any one else. They couldn't compete with him. Drivers were upset because Bigfoot took most of 1990 off to build a truck that dominated a lot of 1990. So after Albuquerque, they banned Bigfoot 8 from racing right before the Dallas shows
Man I wish I had gotten those when these were sold in stores. The thing I liked about the mini trucks was that they came three to a package which was awesome. I also have three or six TNT pulling vehicles and the TNT sled.
yeah I still have a good collection of these toys but I never saw the giant Outlaw in stores and I never bought the mid sized Digger... I still have the giant Digger and a lot of the mini monster trucks
i fucking miss playing with these toys brings back soo many memories

Shame that Tuff Trax ended after just three or four episodes during the 1991 USHRA season. It was a great show.
