  • Lol Watson's sigh at the dredger

  • I love that smarmy look on Holmes' face when Dredger prepares to fight him. Just the thought of it always fills me with self-confidence.

  • Checking and correcting errors here, sorry...

1:22 the closest Holmes ever gets to screaming.

1:22-1:23 PAUSE! stare at that face and roflolws

1:57-1:58 "Bless you for asking Watson. Look in the mirror and say that, though, my dear fellow."

(It's not fair, if you just watch it through the whole time, it says one time, but if you click times, it shows it differently.)

(it says 3:06, it's more like 3:04 or something when it's watson's best face)

3:17 : Je ne se pas but I LIKE IT!!!

  • 1:05 death Frisbee! (Watson throws hat)

1:23 The closest Holmes ever gets to screaming

1:24 PAUSE! stare at that face and roflolws

1:28 Who said Watson couldn't use a pan?!

1:58 "Bless you for asking Watson. Look in the mirror and say that, though, my dear fellow."

2:38 Holmes is thinking. "Any time now..."

    3:02 Electrical chain...!!

3:05 Best face Watson made this whole scene

3:19 Holmes is thinking: "Je ne se pa but I LIKE IT!!!"

  • Does he actually say "Le problem"? That doesn't really seem to make much sense in the French language, it'd be like saying "The problem?". But the actor is actually French, so I actually think he said something else.

  • @IAmCaptainMarvel The actor is actually from Canada ^^ that's why he speaks french

  • @Mrmontgommeryburns

Ahh. Well, like I said, he speaks the language fluently.

  • "Le problem?" haha xD their faces when Dredger comes in XD classic <3 cant wait for the sequel

  • @nattyasha101 He doesnt say "le problem" he says " y'a un problème ?" which means " is there a problem ? " ^^

  • @MrPloopy83 oh god, i wasn't disputing the spelling! does that really matter?!?! i don't know or study french as i chose not to waste my time, but the comment clearly gets my point across....and no one else seems to give a toss. Go troll elsewhere

  • @nattyasha101 Ass, i was just telling what he really say, it wasn't mean or what..

And yes that really matter, because it's not the same sentence, and as i see, no one seems to know, so i was just telling you for being less stupid, but i see that you are just a dick.

  • O_O I want that electrical device, GIMMIE GIMMIE!

  • can somebody tell me the name of the soundtrack of this scene ......... PLEASE !!!!!!!!!!!

  • 1:18 That was a pretty damn good hit!

  • every time I watch 1:23 I always think pf that pig in the Simpsons movie

  • fuckin huge!

  • What song is this

  • I'm SO mad that this piece wasn't on the soundtrack!

  • i'd try any combination of "ann-marie calhoun" "hans zimmer" and "Johnny cope" to see if you can find the song in its entirety

  • There's only one person who can solve a "mysterious song" case. Guess who ?

  • I heard RDjr was knocked unconscious in this scene

  • 1:22 ☺

  • God that I like this scene!!!

  • {one moment please.} [im in no hurry.]

  • @Sareth14 English.

He said it that way so the two guys, Sherlock and Watson would understand him better.

  • @Sareth14 He actually says "Gentlemen?".

    As in to greet them.

  • @Sareth14

    0:55 = "Y'a un problême?" (There a problem?)

  • What's the music playing in the background during the fight? Anyone know what it is/where to get it?

  • Love the part at the beginning where Holmes and Watson watch as Dredger enters the room, and Watson looks like he wants to run off. Funny stuff!

  • @dsd313 My ten minutes are up!

  • @Sareth14 "Is there a problem?"

  • pause at 1:46 :)

  • Comment removed

  • DON'T TAZE ME, BRO!

  • What is the Music played in this part!!?? Cannot find it in the Soundtrack!!

  • @urolz20 Unfortunately, it isn't in the soundtrack which is an awful shame as it is simply splendid

  • 2:14 shouldnt he get shock himself?

  • I like how the shot of his hand grabbing the axe handle(?) at 1:30 looks like half a second of out-of-place stock footage.

  • Love the bit at the beginning where watson throws his hat at one of the "Potatoes".

    LOL.

  • @dsd313 Precisely lol.

  • epic face and noise at 1:23

  • A Tuning rod I presume.

  • The name of the song is called 'mandola' it's a Scottish tune

  • @NationXuG No, not quite. The mandola is an instrument, but you are correct that it is a Scottish tune: it is called "Johnny Cope".

  • Comment removed

  • whats the name of the tune

  • @VulvPawz: It means I don't know

  • Does anyone know the name of this song?

  • Comment removed

  • song pls !!

  • 2:47 - nice combo)

  • To give you the heads up, where can i find the battle scene between Sherlock and Blackwood

  • "Je ne sais pas." x)

  • @Eldor503 Un moment s'il vous plaît. (One moment please)

(Later) Exécutez le petit lapin, exécutez. (Run little rabbit, run)

  • @NicholasGeschke In french, you can traduce "run" by "cours". "Executer" means "to execute" (or "to kill", but it's not common).

  • I love it when Holmes used the Electroshock and everytime he does it, i crack up

  • Whats Dredger say at 0:55?

  • @zambimaru 'Le probleme?' - 'The problem?'

  • What's the song???

  • I don't find the modified version... :(

  • @AndrewTheShort

I listened to Johnny Cope and it sounds nothing like this...

  • The song is an Irish tune called "Johnny Cope" - you can find it here on youtube, but unfortunately not in the modified Zimrman version I think :-(

  • @AndrewTheShort Scottish

  • KURRGAN!

  • NoBody know abour this song?

  • meat or potatoes,

im sorry but those 3 words just worked on so many levels, whoever came up with that line is a genius

  • I love Dredger. He's one of my favorite characters in the film and all around favorite henchman of all time, not to mention the fact that he's a frikin' tall badass!

  • 3:02 Only Sherlock Holmes can beat his opponent without touching them. XD

  • @manymade1 ONLY ROBERT DOWNEY JR CAN

  • haha fantastic thanks 4 uploadin this

  • "Theres one odour i can't quite put my finger on...is it candy floss? molasses; maple syrup - ah Barney sugar - "

    "Toffee Apple."

  • I think the few sentences in french are some kind of reference to the actor of the tall guy because he's french-canadian

  • Ja'i nai c'est pas

  • @tomatoesonstrings actually it's je ne sais pas, meaning i don't know

you said, assuming the first word had to be j'ai and the second n'ai

i have not have it is

  • WHAT IS THE SONG?! D:

  • What's a Dredger?

  • 1:22 Robert Downey Jr's face and he also sound like a dunky

  • Je ne sais pas

  • what does he mean by "meat" or "potatoes" ?

  • @rootbeerdrinker100 on a dinner plate the meat is the biggest part of the meal meaning dredger the potatoes are the sides meaning the 2 other cronies.

  • @rootbeerdrinker100 Thats really obvious...

  • Does anyone know where to find the Hans Zimmer version of this??!! It's doing my head in that I can't find it!!

  • @Reggs14 yes, I'm trying to find it, too!! Gosh, I love this piece, why isn't it on the CD?! :-D

  • Comment removed

  • "Holmes, what is that?"

    "Je ne sais pas"

    Brilliant XD

  • the name of the song is: Johnnie Cope. But Hans Zimmer made it in a diffrent verison.. I will try to find it.. But its seems impossible! But now you got the name!! Please help me with the search!

  • Like everyone else, I am immensely disappointed that the music in this scene wasn't on the soundtrack. It was brilliant. The action, the humor, and the music are what made this one of my favorite movies of 2009. <3

  • lol il parle le français? mais je regardé pas le film. c'est gentil?

  • "Jus one minute boys. Oh Dredger!!" Shit acting, typical Guy Richie mockney thinking they're hard nonsense. The guy is a prat.

  • Has anyone any clue on where to get this version (Ann Marie Calhoun) of 'Johnny Cope'????? I am so surprised it wasn't released... and rather annoyed as well as it appears I'm not the only one who is looking for it! Any thoughts people??

  • Name if the song please

  • anyone else think tony stark vs zangeif?

  • as a French talking person, I find it adorable when people like Robert Downey jr try some words in the language of Voltaire... and it's kinda sexy when done properly as here... ^^

  • ONE MOMANTO SILVUPLE

    LOL

  • I love the French. The soundtrack/fighting may make the scene, but it's the French that gives it life

  • @1:17 SPAM!!!

  • Watson: "Holmes. What is that?"

    Holmes: "Je ne c'est pas!"

It's my favourite scene from the whole movie. I love it!!

  • Robert Maillet is an Acadian, and the Acadians are known for their gentle and unassuming ways. Even the big brute he plays in this movie is somehow likable.

  • 1:04 Doctor PWNAGE

  • i need to find this fight scene song!

  • I really want this version of Johnny Cope. Is there a way to extract the music from the clip? @_@

  • they don't make fighting like this anymore, WHAT HAPPENED TO MANNERS!!!! >:{

  • Owned.

  • 1:03

Watson: My ten minutes are up.

    What does that mean?

  • @1987AnimeBoy Earlier in the movie, Watson said that he couldn't investigate the house because he had to go have tea with Mary's parents, but Watson being the friend he is to Holmes said that he would give him 10 minutes of his time to investigate. Hope that helps :)

  • @1987AnimeBoy b4 this scene Watson said he would help holmes for only 10 minutes. So then when 3 guys come in trying to kill him, he doesnt want to die, so him saying "My 10 minutes are up" was him declaring he wants no part in this whatsoever

  • Best ever

  • In the Spanish dub, the Dredger speaks Dutch (Flemish) as does Holmes. ROFL! I liked the Flemish Dredger the best. :D

  • meat...or potatoes?...

  • i cant find the music :(!!!!!!

  • I don't like the looks of this Man!

  • that "meat, or potatoes?" line is one of the best quotes in a film ever it says a lot without saying much

  • i love when they gat really polite half way through...

    one moment please.....sure

  • "Meat or potatoes?" lol if I ever get in a fight with one big guy and two little guys I'm definitely using that line! @angus10292 I love this song, too. I'll try to tab it on Ultimate Guitar

  • Anyone found the music ?

  • Lol I started to being polite during the fight.

    I never seeing that tho

  • ah, the ever so useful riding crop.......

  • The Song is "Johnny Cope," simply redid by Zimmer. It's clearly recognizable at 1:31 and 2:47.

Unfortunately, it was not released with the movie's soundtrack.

  • Hooo I love this scene ^^ In the Freach version, they speak Italian. That Sucks... I loooove it when he speaks french! Too funny!

  • whats the name of the song???

  • MUSIC!!!!

  • I always prefer Jude Law in roles like this. He too often goes for characters that are boring, but in this or A.I, he's absolutely brilliant, really cool. Just enough with the bland roles, okay Jude? Eccentric suits you much better.

  • who gives a shit about the weapon i want that song!!!!!!! lmao

  • whats the music called

  • any guitarists watching, can you please please please tab this song!!

  • what's this electric weapon?

  • @kiokiular must be an advanced taser

  • Whats this weapon?

  • @KoterzRulez your the first to notice the mistake lol

  • @KoterzRulez A wild DREDGER appeared

    Holmes used Electroshock technique

    It's super effective!

    Dredger has fainted.

  • @ijwi PO-KE-MON.
