@xXxAhmedTarekxXx Not weird but... rather true! Neurolinguistic programming is the term for this. Given the celebrity hype machine known as the "media", I find this link to be appalling. From the time of Kindergarden on, we are told that Einstein was the greatest genius. When we actually take a look at his work, we find that he actually piggybacked his way to stardom using the patent office and other peoples ideas. Yes he was a smart scientist, a genius he was not!
@Morgotheenslaver Hmm, I wouldn't call him mental. He had a very, SOLID perception of life... You can't really say he's mental cause of this strange film. I don't think he had "demons" either.

He is very inspiring though. This film really changes your perception about "life",as its pointless
I saw this several times on television and it frightened me as a child. I'm now determined to face my fears and hopefully jar some bad memories out of my head.
for anyone who was creeped out about becky reminding him of his wife, that probly means that becky's character in the book was based on his wife not that creepy if you just know a lil bit about mark twains literature or if you could just draw your own conclusion based on common knowledge.

i remember watching this on PBS ... public tv, the same damn channel that Sesame Street and Mr. Roger's Neighborhood came on. after seeing old reruns of Gumbie and "Playdough" worms helping me count on Reading Rainbow .... i was more taken by the use of clay and how life-like it was,
instead of the message of good and evil. i thought it was HOT shyt then, and i'm glad i can watch it full length now !!! still looking for one other old ass cartoon movie ... one where a cat runs thru town with the olympic torch, was very vivid, dont remember story line, but i AM searching it out

Twain was seeing a dime on the moon that no one else had cared to see. I wouldn't mind building a time machine, bringing him to this time, and voting for him to be the next president. I'll bet he'd work wonders.

Samuel Langhorne Clemens (November 30, 1835 – April 21, 1910), better known by his pen name Mark Twain, was an American author and humorist. He is noted for his novels Adventures of Huckleberry Finn (1885), called "the Great American Novel", and The Adventures of Tom Sawyer (1876).

@MrUnkownism Don't you mean ten people are stupid Theists/Christians? This film is more likely to be liked by atheists than those that believe in Christianity.
@Burbridge92 Well that depends on the people you know who likes or dislikes this movie. Example an athiest friend of mine does not like this movie while a friend of mine and I liked this movie (we are Catholics but half of me says he does not exist). But if they really were Theists/Christians then there just hardcore fanatics of a imaginary friend. And please dont give me a debate I really hate debates because its one of the things that causes violence. Btw that comment typed by my younger bro.
@MrUnkownism Fair enough, but all I'll say is based on the concept of the actual movie it would be reasonable to believe that Atheists would be the ones who had no problem with this movie because of the concepts portrayed and what they are stating. There is some interesting debate on part 4 of brightlights456X upload of this movie that explains why that might be, but fair enough I get your point. ;)

It's not subliminal. Subliminal means hidden from plain view. This is pretty obvious to me. I personally love it and find it very artistic, but it's definitely not for children.
This movie is so awesome!! I remember watching this when i was about 7 years old back around `85, kids dont get to see cool stuff like this today!! This was one of my favorite movies as a child, i never understood how messed up it is though.
@FlyingMouse13 Because it actually handles important issues that kids SHOULD know about in child friendly manner. The fact you would ask this shows what's wrong with the world today.
twain wrote this after suffering several personal tragedies. he was depressed and angry with God because he outlived his entire family. he was not a satan worshiper.
I heard the movie "Flushed Away" got changed from claymation to CGI because water was too hard to make. I guess Will Vincent was superier to Aardman.

This movie is so awesome!! I remember watching this when i was about 7 years old back around `85, kids dont get to see cool stuff like this today!! This was one of my favorite movies as a child, i never understood how messed up it is though.

@FlyingMouse13 People with no moral compass or commen sense want young people to buy into subliminal ideas which are dark and grim?
mgdivad 1 year ago
@FlyingMouse13 Because it actually handles important issues that kids SHOULD know about in child friendly manner. The fact you would ask this shows what's wrong with the world today.

If any of the voice actors in this are actually southern, I'll eat my hat. They have the most unconvincing forced drawl I've ever heard.

twain wrote this after suffering several personal tragedies. he was depressed and angry with God because he outlived his entire family. he was not a satan worshiper.
