Perhaps Hungarians are Turkic too.. Just compare the DNA of the Uyghur and the Hungarian. I think you will see much similarity. The biggest difference is their religion. And even if Hungarians were Uralic then there were still related with the Turks because they belong to the Ural-Altaic people.
And by the way.. People often talk about that Turks came originally from Central Asia. Yes, that's true but there is almost never spoken that Indo-Europeans came from India.

Magyars are Uralic people and as such they belong to the Uralic Language Family. Meaning everyone whom is Uralic (Finns, Sami, Votes) are close relatives to the Hungarians. True the Hungarians are named after Huns, but it is questionable if the Huns really were Turkic or they were Uralic people whom had being influenced by Turks like Iranians are influenced by Arabs.

Jordanes tells us that the Huns cut their faces... There are some tribes that tatoo their faces, perhaps this is what he meant. The description of the Huns sounds more like they were Inuit/Eskimo people.

The Magyars truly did came from the Ural mountains which separates Europe from Asia and is in close proximity to Turks. However... the Magyars had originally before that time dwelled in Northern Russia near Finland. But... if we analyze things by when the first Uralic people had emerged and when the first Altaic people had emerged (both which look a lot different back then than they do right now), you'll notice considerable difference and a very distant relation. It is still fairly close compare to how closely related either is to Arabs, Chinese, or African people. But... it is much farther than you would have thought.
6,000 BCE is when the Uralic people and the Altaic people had diverged.

No, I never studied Chinese history, it is not studied in-deapth outside China. It is not considered as consequential as you imagine. I have heard of Tang dynasty and how on their request Uyghurs helped them to restore the order in their empire. Uyghurs did not even want to conquer China. We do not need you even if you ask us to come and take you!
Also, you obviuosly, never heard of Uyghur Empire/Uyghur Devleti, you, obviously, never heard of the Hunns, our ancestors, or Mughals.
