  • I grew up watching these cartoons!!! Theyre way better than american ones.

  • I am a girl from Bosnia, and I learn Russian at school!

    P.S. Mum Duck is sexy

  • @majabjekovic привет, приятно увидеть девушек на интернете

  • It bears a direct resemblance to another one, but its touching all the same.

  • "el patito feo"

  • masterpiece... all cubans , when we were kids in the 80s used to watch russian cartoons only... i loved this one!

  • @francovaldes te acuerdas de esos tiempos. son mejores que de los de disney ^^

  • @J0AN100 claro que me acuerdo. master russian animators, such a talent, inspiration, soul poured into these creations.

  • This is a timeless story with a universal meaning. I don't think the language matters, and it doesn't need subtitles. Even if you turned down the volume, you'd understand the meaning.

  • Yep thats soo trueee!!!!!! :)

  • So glad I know Russian :D

  • This should be subtitled in english..it's absolutely beautifully made!

  • the video's soundtarck is simply beautiful

i want to know the music name

  • @maggagiclub Music or, maybe, composer's name? The composer is Edward Kolmanovsky, but I am afraid you won't find his music for any Soviet film separately.

  • oh such an excellent video corporation, thank you for posting. ;-)

  • you know, this is the first time I heard a Russian languae, and I must tell it sounds so beautiful. I just like listening to the language and enjoy the story at the same time.

  • about that time yes - I personally consider this to be the best cartoon ever made

  • @Muffincakeswithsugar there are many more made by this company, they were made back when Soviet Union was best nation on earth, despite all the stuff youve learned and been told in the West.

  • I know what they are saying, I'm part russian. I would post the same thing but with subtitles, if I had this movie.

  • I am part russian too

  • was it arround the 60's ?!?

i think arround the 80's/90's because my parents put it on a cassett when i was borned already on the year 1993

  • It was licensed in USA in 90s, but produced in 60s.

You know, the thing is during socializm it was not allowed to sell any Russian cartoons to Europe and USA.

  • This is beautiful and I love the music! I just wish I understood what they were saying ^^;

  • molodec kushik obozhayu tebya :))) zhdu eshe :)))....mnogo nashix, starix, dobrix, xoroshix multov :)))))
