@KforKaspur I am a soldier's wife, he spent a total of 5 1/2 years in Iraq, he served & so did I & the rest of his family & friends. I am one of the lucky & blessed, my husband was in an explosion that threw him several feet, knocking off his protective gear & by some miracle, he suffered no bad physical injuries, mentally, he was greatly affected, recovering his friends, many times only pieces of them remained. This dance was a heart felt tribute & those were real tears running down JR's face

This was one of those times for me the technique didn't matter, it was the story that mattered. Such a beautiful and touching moment and will no doubt be one of the most talked about dances for years to come. JR truely is a hero.

Such a beautiful performance. That should have been 3 9s at the very least. I love Ricki and Derek but i thought that dance wise, it should have at least been a tie if not JR in the lead. The Judges are already known for being harder on the better dancers which is silly. Anyways i hope they atleast get the encore performance today. I'd love to see it again live.

I'm truly beginning to think the judges DO NOT LIKE Karina and are taking it out on her partners. Ralph was amazing last season and was underscored on SEVERAL of his dances and NOW they're doing the same thing to JR. Utterly ridiculous. Bias? Yes, because I've been a fan of Karina's since Season 3. She's phenomenal & I love her strength as a woman and dancer. SHE'S FEARLESS!!!

I've watched this video about five times, and I've teared up each time. Amazingly beautiful performance. Once again they were underscored. Should have been 10s from ALL the judges. Karina is stunning & the best pro dancer! I just love her. If J.R. doesn't win this season, I'm done with this show!!! He is by far the BEST dancer this season. Love Derek and Ricki, but how in heaven's name did she get a 27 over JR's 26??? SMH, SMH, SMH

Until season 12 I didn't like Karina.

Great dancer- yes - for sure, but a character superficial, ambitious, making only choices to push up her career.

It seems to me working with J.R. makes her changing. I think she was really touched by what he said. And we saw her as emotionnel as him at the end of the dance and in the sky-box.

This guy, so badly injured outside, is able to show all of us that the real important thing is inside.

Never give up. Be positif.

@TheALLYSON101 Me too!!!! I love J.R./ He has been through a lot & he has a wonderful spirit. I know he traveled a long journey to get to where he is today. I wasn't going to watch DWTS this season because I didn't think it would be good. J. R. has done it for me/they got all my votes. I'm amazed at his great sense of humor that elevated his personality. I'm so very emotional right now because I've been worrying about things that don't seem relevent. I wish 4 a mustard seed of J. R.'s spirit.
