Great episode nice to see some of the "old" Stefan. And thank god Damon had some sense to bring back Elijah! However when Stefan confronted Damon- i wish he had explained and shown the true place of his feelings and vulnerability for Elena, instead of his ruse. His love for Elena may be wrong in the sense of brotherhood, but we can't control who we love or who changes us. And after 145 years of missing that i understand how hard it is to walk away from that kind of love- and i hope he doesn't.

There is nothing exciting between Elena and Stefan, continuing their relationship is pointless, things are not the same. What Stefan saw in the very beginning of the show, was Katherine's duplicate and that's why he was interested. Damon on the other side fell in love with her personality which he discovered slowly and this has nothing to do with her resemblance to Katherine.

And I really don't think it's okay to willingly sacrifice the friends of the person you love, even if you are trying to protect them.
