I really hate everyone in Borked. I play on horde at Ravencrest and u pricks are always ganking and stuff... :D

back before 3.0 agility totem and windfury totem were 2 seperate totems, so u could use windfury that enhanced everyone in ur partys main hand for 10 seconds then right after u place it use agility to maximize dps for people in ur group then when WF runs out u do it again

Yep as he said, Strength of Earth Totem did not provide Agility and Agility was an Air Totem, just like Windfury. Windfury gave 1 extra attack now and then. Basically it was not intended to have both totems up at the same time. But the Windfury buff lasted 10 seconds so you could place windfury and then agility right after and thus benefit from both.

The windfury buff was a Buff to the Weapon which was applied for 10 seconds ... by totem Twisting you could keep Agility and Windfury Totem up at the same time.

you forget that the raid synergy, the only reason why we had so good dps, is nerfed to pieces. So we will have to wait and see what the dps will be like ;-)

also the new DPs Rotation requires Lava Burst ... and that is a Level 75 Skill.

DPS with lava burst must be SICK! :) I mean transfer your toon to the PTR. With your level 70 coeffiecents and the wrath talents. Spec 8/53/0. From real time talents to the PTR ones, DPS upgraded a significant amount. This is on test dummies with a fury way and ret pally in my group.

Actually you'd like elemental focus to reduce mana Issues, you want Call of Flame to increase Lava Burst damage and ofc Elemental Fury for Lava Burst and Lava Lash ciritcal damage. (Lava Lash with FT and Elemental Fury crits for 2500 and my Lava Burst is at 79 5500 damage - selfbuffed only, and with Flame Tongue on target guaranteed a crit)

I believe hes totem twisting for the sake of the group hes in which is a melee group.

Yes, if you watch close I am twisting Wf/GoA totem. I have 3 horizontal bars form disquodice, the upper bar shows me how long the others have windfury - so I can keep up GoA until the bar is nearly gone then I put up WF again which will give my party wf for 10 seconds and do GoA again.

this way we can benefit from both totems and increase our dps.

Your video comment was about Kil'Jaeden and not Brutallus.

This kill was from the second or third reset, and was the highest enhancement DPS at that time. Meanwhile it is no problem at all to reach 2400 DPS on Brutallus, personally I do more than 2500 DPS on this fight nowadays.

Thats not uncommon at all on this fight. Some guilds have paladin and priest outside the raid so they can get that extra buff for this fight. You really need EVERYTHING you got in order to kill Brut in under 6 mins.

Yes, I have a low number of misses, the Rogueish Gear I am using brings a lot of hit rating and I like it. I was dual wielding the Badge Weapons back then, but I think it is the only difference.

i hear totems dropping every 9 sec and im guessing its totem twisting. How can you monitor it without disqodice and so much going on? What is your opinion on totem twisting as i see you didnt twist on your Twins video. thanks

Well I am totem twisting. I have WF/GoA on 4 and my disqudice bar is at the center of the screen (quite small) inside the right mana arc from the hud.

Well if you want to go to the max you kind of need to totem twist. I personally do not like it, but it is a good way to boost my own dps and contribute more than the average Sahman.

If you put down a Windfury Totem, it buffs the Weapons of your group members for 10 seconds. So there is no reason to keep the totem up once its buff is applied, instead you can put up a Grace of Air Totem for additional dps.

After 10 Seconds you need to reapply the Windyfury buff again, and then change again to grace of Air.

Windfury Totem -> Grace of Air Totem (9 sec) -> Windfury Totem -> Grace of Air Totem (9sec) ... etc etc

So you are tisting those tostems around all the time.

The Addon I am using for that is "Shamanfriend" - if the hit + the 2 following windfury hits are crits it is a triple crit. If it procs from Stormstrike it can even become a quadruple crit, but those are rather rare.

ye idd, shamans have very nice buffs. I think that they can be compared at a pure dps class, because they have 2 dps spec and only 1 for healing. i think they are really good

You can get the Totem Addon YATA at WoWAce. It easy access to all totems via dropdown menu.

Pure DPS classes do far superior DPS than a shaman, but I think they are really fun to play and provide the best group buffs.

Apart form most likely being the only one to use demonslaying elixir and haste potions here this encounter favours our damage a lot.
