  • Hi mate, why do you coose this method rather than say wire mesh and plaster cloth? Hope you dont mind m asking?

  • @jasonandjoesrailway It was a pretty confined area so florist foam was just easier to carve and work with in general in such a tight space.

  • a quick question... were can i get some of that Florist Foam???

btw great vid, layout is looking really good!!!

  • @efitter7 I my foam at Hobby Lobby. You could probably get it at any garden supply store or crafts store.

  • it be nice to take all the foam fillings and compress them and re use them lol

  • awesome video man, your layout is coming along great!

  • What are you planning to use for water? Don't you need to seal the foam as well as the cracks to keep it all iin the river?

  • you make it look easy, very educational

  • how do you really call the green material that you use for the mountains, landsacpes and inthis case river banks??

i mean, the real tecnical name for it...

    ?

  • The "green stuff" is Florist Foam. The pink foam I've used on my mountains is"extruded foam.

  • you mean that florist foam that goes down very easly is you press it? ok thanks!

  • I know I'm not the only one asking but, when are we getting the next set of vid's?

  • Wow you work really fast..... lol

  • E... in your music from time to time i hear little tiny bits that remind me of Pink Floyd... like a couple of sceens ago i thought i heard Dark Side of the Moon (just a tiny spot reminded me) today i heard The Division Bell. Do you like Pink Floyd? They use guitar as a primary instrument, i mean its more prevalent than music of today. THANKS FOR THE VIDS!

  • I'm a big fan of Progressive Rock. That's one reason you'll hear me mess around with odd time signatures in some of my video music. Yeah, I like Pink Floyd too.

  • the layout is looking awesome

  • your videos are very relaxing! great job its coming together

  • Cool music, love the guitar part

  • where do you get the florist foam at

  • Probably a flower shop or something I am going to check a arts and crafts store called michaels to see if they have some.

  • Michael's definitely has it. I bought some myself, haven't used it yet. It's about $4 for a couple big "bricks" of foarm.

  • Thanks Alot Man!!!I owe ya!I really appreciate it!I'll head over there today!

  • I want to see the next one!

  • It's starting too look really good. Nice work

  • WoW! thats cool. hope that foam don't cost much. seems like 50% gets shaved away!

  • What do you save the shaved foam for?

  • he uses it for filling gaps on the foam by mixing it with white glue

  • I've seen people paint it white into snow, put it in textured paint when using it on concrete walls for better effect. Though I'd like to know the actual answer myself!
