Omg finally beat him u need a level 3 lunar staff. Get behind him and press a n dodging his grabs hard as hell but works. U need the health that gives u Moderate Heath and the thing that gives u nipto. Check out my channel.....( whoever says this boss is easy beat it with level one weapon to.make it challenging )

You have to really know your combos, and practice them in the game. Know the weaknesses of each move, and when the enemy is open for attack, then you can pwn him effectively.

@awsomeman3000 He's just friggin cheap is all. Too many aimless dull throws and too many invulnerable frames and unblockables. "Team garbage" really messed up with this fight, because there is no strategy here except to be cheaper than the AI which is an acomplishment all by itself. The difficullty is the same here also acolyte to master ninja, this fight is just the worst and most tedious of all of them.

@olacola15 you only used it once and it is worth 20000 for you because you played it in the path of the acolyte, it is way harder in the path of the warrior because items are worth more, and more fiends appear at the same time, not to mention they use more counters and combos, plus, i bet you had to use some talismans in the tests of valor, if you completed them, they are freaking hard, especially if you have almost no healing items, so just stop criticizing other people and focus on yourself

But the gameplay is still excellent and it's got one of the most fluid and satisfying fighting systems I've seen in a while. While it is punishingly difficult, I can't recommend it enough.

Finally!!! I beat him. I upgraded my Lunar Staff to lvl 2 and i used my fire blasts on him. It took me a while, but it worked. If u havent did it, u should try it.

if u have enough yellow essence, u can go to that old guy's shop. its also a blacksmith too, so thats where u can upgrade ur weapons, but u need at least 10,000 yellow essence to upgrade a lvl 1 weapon.
