  • Oh, those bends !!!!!!!!!!!

  • legend

  • Always the best! Thank you!

  • My dad got me hooked on Gary before he passed in 2000. I was surprised to hear that he passed away earlier this yr. He will be greatly missed. Now my dad can enjoy his music again with Gary up in heaven.

  • @moparbman Your Dad had excellent taste in music and obviously passed it on to his son. I bet he's up there right now groovin to the greatest band in the Universe. God has called many great musicians home,it stands to reason He would also call home the best audience.

  • goooooood so good ohh pretty woman!

  • Is that Don Airey playing keyboard?

  • oooh pretty woman

  • Absolutly fantastic guitar playing. I want to learn this song bigtime!

  • This is excellent!!! Realy Kicking- it- up on that Les Paul. Love his style.

  • Come on guys, enjoy the music, celebrate the players and soak it up. Music isn't a contest; there are a lot of great players and Gary is certainly one who left his mark on a lot of people. Can't help but love the big sound, the skill and the joy that he played with.

  • Buy dear friend! Thanks for your life!

  • Awesome live performance! Retain that quality singing while playing? Awesome :P

I was virtually raised with and by Gary Moore thanks to my dad. I hope Gary's out there somewhere, enjoying whisky springs. I wanted to say, no more blues for Gary, but what a boring afterlife that woud've been :P

  • Happy Birthday Gary

  • i wish there was blues tournament where GARY would play with SRV in the finals, it would be stronger than earthquake in japan, and followed by a HUGE tsunami wave of people losing consciousness !!!. respect

  • @przemodzemo In my opinion, SRV was good but Gary was far better... He had more feeling better technique and ideas. So, Gary would be the winner ;)

  • @mrkakakas

Imo we should not compare those 2, they had completely different techniques, both were masters in what they were doing. I would like to see the outcome of a jam session with those 2 ;)

  • Gary makes me want to be Irish

  • not in rolling stones top 100 guitarist.... thats just fukkin retarded...top 10, modern and only MASTER of the blues, this guys gonna get more recognition in death i bet, hes just too good , young guitarist will have a nice library of gary moore forever, and his kind dont come around often, since he was alive ,ive never heard a guy who could get on stage with him playin blues and not get just totally wiped -out lol

  • talk about a guy with COMMAND of the instrument....special 1 of a kind player

  • Fecking awesome, I saw this tour and I personally believe Moore was the hottest guitarist in the world at that time.

  • show me the one who dislikes this video now!!!

  • Rest in peace legend!

  • Thanks Gary, for all you gave to each of us. Your passion will live on

  • Gary is truly the definition of Guitar Gunslinger!! He was the total package he could play slow n soft with great vibrato, then in half a second rip your head off with explosive lightning blazzing runs that were very powerfull , Another Legend gone??? Wtf!

  • AT 1:13 I hear something of Black Dog by Led zeppelin... =D amazing...

  • wow this is fast! Great though.

  • Wow this is so fast!! Ha, great though.

  • Gary, 1 of the best (guitar) performans i even saw, BRBF 2006! Say Jimi hello from us! Rest in pease... Pepke12

  • RIP

  • RIP GARY MOORE! YOU MAY BE GONE, BUT YOUR MUSIC LIVES WITH US FOREVER :'(

  • Those licks nearly set the fretboard alight.

  • whats the honest verdict Eddie van halen or gary moore

    based on technical prowess

based on ability to create and maintain melodies

  • @shane69999

There isn't a guitar player alive, that puts more feel and emotion into their playing than Gary Moore. And Gary destroys Eddie, when it comes to technique and speed. Eddie would admit to it as well.

  • @Fotzkopp1980 Gary was one guitar player Randy Rhoads admired a lot, that should say something ;

    )

  • @Fotzkopp1980 dont forget stevie ray vaughan he played hell of a lot of stuff and did a lot

  • when i heard he died i, went home and i sat down and i.. had to process... that he fucking died.

  • Gary Moore was born to play the electric guitar.

  • Pretty good vocalist too..

  • That guy right damn there, can play guitar..

  • Holy mama light my fuse!

  • I'd give both my testicles for his skills and tone =D

  • @NickWondergemMusic

i wouldnt do that... i can blow 5 times a night.... freaking lov that...

  • Gary is a king of the fucking wordl , forever

  • haha he played Soldano not Marshall.

  • @bigrock007 The Loner was played on Soldano too, not Marshall :)

  • @slovdavid good to know:) When The Loner was released I wasn't even born:D

  • That's not peter green's les paul. It is a 59 but not green's but gary's. Check out midnight blues on this set that's peter green's.

  • @monad7131 right

  • And this guy is not even listed on Rolling Stone's top 100 guitarsists list.

I'm sure Gary doesn't give a damn about that, but it's really a shame for those working for that magazine. They can tell only what's popular and that's it.

  • @cw3le: Most of those guys are not even good enough to lick Gary's sweat off the stage, and they probably know it.

  • Blues on steroids......

  • @mnbvc12111 - it's actually his other Les Paul he used here - you can see that it has no pickup covers on - it also has hotter pickups, but i totally agree! This is fantastic!!!

  • i watched this video now 10 times without a breake and I still want to listen to this incredible masterpiece. he is a true guitar virtuoso and his show is amazing too!!!!

  • this is so incredible, he still got the blues and much much moore!!!!!! xD

  • Long Live Moore and Ireland!

  • Has got to be the most awesome guitar solo of all time!

  • still the best,,,

  • F U C K I N G AWESOME

  • Is this the best Les Paul sound ever? Moore really lets it rip in this one and that is an understatement. He may be able to hold back a little in the studio but live it has to come out. He has passion, intensity, balls, and huge amounts of attitude. The solos in this song would not sound out of place at all in a metal song.

  • wonderful

  • Great song. Love all the back up instrumentation and the crying guitar.

    Thanks for sharing.

  • top 3 favorite guitarist ace frehley gary moore mick ronson

  • Gary is guitar king!

  • Gary Moore is God.

  • Master!!

  • Gary crucifies Pete Green's LP on this one -- awesome!

  • Jess!

  • LOVE THIS!!!

  • Gary, I'm stuck on you, too!

  • 3. 45 till 3.55 ^^

  • There is Gary Moore and the rest!

  • When was this ???

  • 1990

  • stay of classics like this...?? noooo!! this sounds great!!! maybe a little bit too fast, but..he's got the feeling!! you can hear it on the album version too..its even better!!!i love gary moore's playing..its blues but just more rough, blues is blues, everybody feels it differently!

  • efribari cachas negras. Por dios que me vuelvo loco

  • go moore!

  • すげー。。。

  • escriban enl maldito español

  • go moore....

  • I wish he would stay off classics like this...

  • is anybody knows what pickups did he used here?

  • I couldn't tell you what it is, but I do know the neck pickup is wired out of phase, thus the nasal sound.

  • probably stock humbuckers. His sound comes from his hands and a les paul going thru a marshall w/ gain on full.

  • Rules moore

  • Magik hand, great Gary...

  • I like this man albeit at times he reminds me of Linda Blair of EXORCIST who is about to puke that green goeey!

  • Gary Moore is the best! Awesome talent in blues guitar playing! How I wish I can play the guitar like him. I have a complete collection of his greatest hits. A distinctive talent in guitar playing.

  • i knew gary two days ago to the italy concert..he is god a very sweet person

  • Gary's Mullet is the best Mullet I've ever seen. Maybe he should be called Gary Mullet instead of Gary Moore... Oh well, just an idea. Yes a great song this is. Maybe the guitar is a bit over the top. I suppose it's all down to personal taste...

  • None else can move like Gary, sexy too.

  • Oh my God...!!!

    This is AWESOME...!!!

  • I like John Mayall 70th birthday dvd version better. Its a little slower, more blues feel to it. Buddy Whittington and Mick Taylor get into a little guitar duel. Moores version is really good, just too heavy metal sounding on the leads for me.......

  • fucking great!!!!!!!!!!! gary MANDA

  • Geez i kind of really just got into gary but his playing is incredible, his feel with his technique is really something different

  • Wow this is played way faster than the studio version! Great song, great guitarist

  • dunno if he had the video tape on super-speed lol...it's not as fast as this on my DVD player when i play it
