  • RADIOHEAD SHOULD HAVE WON THE GRAMMY, NOT THE FOO FIGHTERS!!!!

  • Which album is this from?

  • @Amillerb777 its on the knives out single and a live solo piano version in the go to sleep single

  • @Amillerb777

    B-side of Amnesiac

  • Am I the only person who is on the edge of crying? This song just has so much meaning.

  • @BrutusTheDork i think you are! :) just kidding

  • This is not an angry song or a song about anger. Why have this as the video?

  • The intro reminds me of another song so much.. and I don't know what one! >_<!

  • @EnceladusEnceladusEn stand by me?

  • Baby alligators........

  • 2:10 love this moment and then the drums amazing song

  • Beautiful.

  • This was sad, but done very very well. I like it, props to you. Very meaningful and a wonderful song!

  • another video on youtube labeled fog is actually fog again live. Thom in that video says this version wasn't very good...Thom, you are dead wrong. They are both great but this version is perhaps the great thing ever.

  • Wow... this is beautiful. Most films people make on YouTube aren't very good, but this is incredible. Very moving.

  • where can i download this version of the song?

  • @stancexpunks Get the Expanded Edition of Amnesiac. It's a b-side from "Knives Out" single.

  • they totally ripped off bauhaus, bela lugosis dead,

  • @left4deadlover123 Do Bauhaus have some kind of exclusive moral right to scratchy rattling noises and reverb now?

  • @vaguelyhumanoid They have a right to everything

  • @vaguelyhumanoid They have a right to everything

  • I love discovering new Radiohead songs <3

  • @b3ttyHen94 you love discovering "old" Radiohead songs

  • "the fog comes up......" too much :)

  • Great Work For such a Great Song !

    I really Love it !

  • i do wish you wouldn't sputter on the floor, jonathan

thats what ive got the bear for...

sorry this isnt intented to be spam, does anyone recognize it?

  • I think this is flat-out one of the best Radiohead songs. Can't quite believe it's a b-side.

  • I had a strange and beautiful dream last night. It's hard to say it with words - I saw the great LOVE and this song was like a soundtrack. There was some light and warm. Pure feelings. Now I feel like I've discovered some secret.

Uhh what else can my mind do to me? :)

  • Good job on the video. I recently made a video for Fog too, using Peter Tscherkassky's experimental short movie Outer Space. I think it goes well with the song. You can check it out in my profile.

  • You don't expect anyone to get the story, but after reading your description, i can tell you right now alot of people relate to this,it is a good video for a good song, keep it up man.

  • beautifull. both the song and video.

  • Legit one of the saddest videos I've seen on jewtube.

  • I really like your version :)

  • brings tears into my eyes...

  • Knives Out has some of the best B-Sides.

  • completely forgot about this song - love it :)

    nice video btw

  • loved the freudian twist in the end...

  • @pmukhrg Guess I'm not the only one who caught this...gotta love Oedipal Complexes

  • Their best song. Musically and emotionally compelling.

  • im on the verge of tears

  • I'm speechless,amazing video.Thank you.

  • best radiohead song, imo. talkshow host and permanent daylight are right up there with it

  • Wooow what beautiful video! Congratulations!!!! I'm going to link this video on my facebook. Greetings from Acapulco Mexico.

  • Well, I think Brians cover is a lot better... xD

  • life sux, huh kidd.. XD

  • everywhere i walk, i always find myself singing this sound...dont even give a fuck. Songs like these make me melt, and the video fit so well with the song. Really, fantasitc job.

  • Nice vid. Very appropriate.

I always loved this song 'cause it's so close to poetry. It's so goddamn mysterious and eery. Love it.

  • this is probably the closest radiohead has ever gotten to sounding like sigur rós, thom and the lead singer of sigur rós both have somewhat similar falsettos but what i mean is the sound of the song.

  • wow this was amazing

  • Comment removed

  • This was tough for me to watch, my teddy bear was my best friend for a long time.

  • Heres something more fucked up: My brother used to stuff shoe boxes with pictures of dead celebrities and organized funeral ceremonies. not joking.

  • great video Joanthan! you picked the perfect song for this, the video really has a 'radiohead' atmosphere

  • what albums this on?

  • it took me watching this video 3 times to get it, im a little slow sometimes

  • i llove thiss song :'D

  • It's really hard to watch this video. I was in the same position as a kid--but instead of hurting my stuffed pigs, I just clang to them. I am very glad that I still have my mother.

Something about the semi-anonymity of the internet makes me feel OK posting this. It kind of relieves a weight from my back, in a sense.

  • @SolidSnyder I feel you, I was abused by my dad and he recently slapped me infront of my girlfiend so I ran away from him and havnt talked to him in over a year. Ive always wanted a dad...

  • J'hallucine quoi.

  • I almost teared for the teddy bear. D; What a wonderful song, matched with a meaningful, provoking video.

  • That was so touching.

It made me want to cry.

  • can someone please tell me where this is from? b-side? sounds like it should come from hail to the theif

  • Sure mate! Knives Out EP - disc 2.

  • @jjadgemini88 this is #6 on the dual disk amnesiac

  • can anyone tell me how this is 4/4?

  • They are using polyrythms, which is distorting the feeling of 4/4

the second drum beat, which enters around half way thru, is beating out a 7/4, or alternating 3/4-4/4 metre over the fundamental, I think.

  • An unbelievably good song. Seriously...

  • this version is better................. It is in number 1 on my itunes library (1,597 times )

  • @ThomRadioheadYorke Same here bro

  • good work mate!

if you were in Aus i would love to work with you.

  • I luv both versions of fog, simply amazing

  • That was... surprisingly touching.

Interesting parallel as to how he buries the bear's remains with the lyrics.

  • I thought this was fairly well done. You leaned a bit too much on the vintage production, but just a bit. It's still a well made video for the song. It's insular like most Radiohead material, but at least the sound is hopeful. So is the clip.

All I'm really saying is I think you nailed it.

  • Haunting.

  • hey thom, did ya go bad?

  • the live version is way better imo

  • fantastic

  • sounds a lot like someting you could hear on "In Rainbows" but, it sounds like an old demo also.

  • i started loving the song after the video masterpiece

  • AMAZING

  • Very well made video! How did you make it look like that? cheers,

    fran :=

  • good stuff Jonathan.

wish both males AND females could see and contemplate the main idea of this video before deciding to bring children into the world.

i, as a mother of a son, appreciate your efforts here.

wish you well in your film career:)

  • Hmm, while i don't want to ignore your obvious personal frustration I have the feeling you're just generalizing. Sometimes mom's screw up, sometimes dad's, sometimes both, sometimes the kid and sometimes things just happen...

  • En mi messenger tengo un enlace directo a este video !!,

  • Lieber Gruß an die kakigrüni DB ... :-)

  • The Live-version is better.. But this version is good too.. :P

  • wow this song just shows the musical talent these guys have... T.Y is amazing

  • I love this song. It's funny how thom doesn't even like this song. When he did the La Reservoir performance and played "Fog (Again)" he said, "we did a version of this song before but it wasn't that good"

  • i think what he meant was they screwed up a performance of it at the beginning of the show but ended up playing it again at the end, that's why it's (again).

  • This video's amazing.

  • Jonathan , what's that picture inside the bear?,

  • The bear is the embodiment of his absent father, who fills that absence with toys. The bear was given to little "Eric" as a baby, and it has been his companion ever since. His father placed a picture of both he and Eric inside for eric to take out and view at his leisure. On this particular day, seeing his father in that pic is a spark. Which is really a big deal since that bear was his sidekick. (I don't expect anyone to get any of this out of the film, but it is the backstory.)

  • hey i love your video!!! its brilliant, and im glad that you've done it on this song...no many people have listened to it its a shame cos it's such a powerful track..very good work!

  • I appreciate the kudos, thank you :)

  • @scatterbrain40 I think a lot of people know about this song. I mean it's Radiohead :p

  • I think that somethings never wash away. You can bury the past but it makes you who are today. I liked the video is was really well made.

  • I feel the message was pretty clear. For the most part that is what I interpreted from this flim. This is very well done and I don't feel you are generalizing too much, when a father isn't there for his son, the son can miss out on vital parts of childhood (the same goes for a mother/daughter relationship). You gave just the right amount of information for viewers to intepret for themselves. Thank you for a well done piece of film!

  • @JonathanFilmm

Bro I got that completely, you presented it really well, which makes this my favorite video of fog.

  • @JonathanFilmm I ain't been a smart ass...... why does he look at the picture the wrong way around? I understand you have to show us the meaning, but its a flaw none the less.

  • @redcommando1, I think the photo faces the camera because the boy is reading something written on the back, presumably something written by his father.

  • @JonathanFilmm Only corrupt people turn their aggression outward like this. The innocent have a tendency to turn their frustration inward onto themselves. Your character's got some guilt, bro.

  • @ricardoermm the picture is of a man(presumably the boys father) holding a baby ( presumably the boy)

  • 13,883 views! Impressive

  • could of been better if you've never shown the kids face...good idea and cool video

  • This is a great visual interpretation of both the mood and verbal meaning of the song. Great job!

  • thank you. I appreciate feed back.

  • There's a little child

    Running round this house

    And he never leaves

    great lirics.

  • I really like this video. well done!

  • thank you much

  • You did a really good job on the video.

    Two Thumbs Up

  • thank you! I've been patiently waiting for someone to actually comment on the piece and not the song. i appreciate that.

  • are you serious ? this is my favorite video, it's amazing, i watch it everytime i want to hear the song, who is the boy?

  • you're making me blush. :)

The boy is my nephew and god son. I used him in the video because he too has an absent father figure theme running through his childhood existence. It was a piece that both he and I could share. I made this film while I was in film school. Since then I've made an independent short called "Avers" with him as the main actor. Everyone loves him in it.

I'm running the festival circuit this coming Fall.

  • thom yorke is a genius:)

    ...

  • this song is excellent!

    great album

  • What album?

  • Knives Out

    well, it's a single.... xD

  • This song reminds me of Bullet Proof...I Wish I Was from The Bends. It also reminds me of Lurgee from Pablo Honey with that guitar solo.

  • nooooo poor teddy ;(

  • I relate to this song thats why its awesome! GREAT TUNE

  • radiohead at its best! amazing tune

  • whyhave you ben marked down for liking this song? lol youtube is retarded. people cant read

  • not on album, b side of knives out

  • did you go bad? amazing song

  • which album is this song from ?

  • Itss the b side to knives out frrom amnesiac. You can get the single on amazon

  • ive listened to both versions but i cant decide which is better...

the other version has the brilliant simplicity of thom and a piano playing together beautifully

but this version is fantastic..the bass...the drums...then the guitar kicks in and blows ur mind...and thoms eerie voice

  • that was a realy great video.

  • Thank you. Tell Radiohead that. I want it to be the official video for Fog.

  • makes a single tear roll down your face

  • the bass in this is amazing

  • i perfer "all i need" or "how to dissapear completely" but this is a very fucking good song, soooo relaxing, aren't they all though?

  • okay, I took it out...

  • 2:44

    I came.

  • yeah, that's usually how it goes with Radiohead.

  • You mean you like both, but this one better? Yes you did.

  • suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuper sweet

  • cool video jonathan FLIP'N SWEET
