why would you use upstart goblin? you draw the card, give your opponent 1000 lp, then you draw another card. It's just like your opponent gets 1000 free lp

@qichigoq I think Felgrand means that, upstart goblin is a "filler card" if that card was never there, you would have drawn another card. Instead, you have another "card" which lets you draw, but your opponent gains extra lp. like jar of greed.

I dont have the game yet, but in rl i use a very good exodia appropriate deck. Cards like cup of ace, kuraz, dark world dealings, hand destruction, d-hero defender, etc. It's based on using appropriate and cards that make your opponent draw.

What set is WC08 updated too? If it has cards from PTDN in it then i'd suggest running some Allures of Darkness, otherwise the deck is great.
