i used Roth trippin' agent orange flakes on this guitar. all their trippin flakes are halographic. i use automotive urethane paint and clear coat. the finish is smooth as glass. i started painting guitar with lacquer, but didnt like to wait 30-40 days before i could sand and polish. with urethane, it only takes 5-7 days total for a flake job and 3 days for a opaque color.
Can you tell me what kind of flake and finish you used? I can't tell from this video, but did it come out smooth, or was there any bumpiness from the flakes? I want to do this myself. I've done one nitrocellulose guitar finish before, but it was non-metallic and opaque. Thanks!

Beautiful finish. I'm addicted to the sparkles myself. Just something about the sparkle makes a Tele that much better.
